Diagnostic and New Battery Took Wrangler in as it was having difficulty starting. Dropped car off for a 9:15 appointment and called at 2:00 for an update...too busy to speak so Took Wrangler in as it was having difficulty starting. Dropped car off for a 9:15 appointment and called at 2:00 for an update...too busy to speak so left message with receptionist. I hear back at 4:00 with a bid for $1,300. Called at they tried charging $175 for a diagnostic and $265 for a new battery (tune up and fuel injector was the extra expense to total the $1,300). Unreal and unscrupulous that it took them all day and they charge over $450 for a battery and diagnostic. Shameful gouging...don’t use their service area!! More

Here is what I was quoted today: This is the paper he wrote down the details for me... I have it on video, and the paper he wrote it on. $ 214 parts $ 17.01 tax $ 100 labor ....but cutting me a deal...normally $149.99 (he wrote on the paper) $ 39.99 .... shop charges TOTAL $ 371.00 ... normally $420.50 (he wrote on the paper) It just didn't seem right, so I called multiple other honest dealers and was told a key cost $169 and $60 labor = $229. Didn't even drive the car I dropped my car off this morning with the complaint of a shimmy at high speeds and low speeds especially when you put on the brakes. About 4 hours later I got an email saying that I needed four new tires that I had a leak in my radiator and that I needed that replace new coolant and I needed a fuel induction and a tune-up basically the bill would be $2,250 if I wanted him to perform those tasks. But they never drove the car. The mileage was the same when I dropped it off. How can you assess driving the car and look at the bearings and the rotors and the brakes and the shocks and not even drive the car? I'm out 165.00 for nothing. Total scam. More

I just received a call from Napleton's trying to schedule my first oil change. I have not yet owned the vehicle for two months; it is completely unnecessary to begin worrying about scheduling an oil change. Also, incredibly frustrating. Further supporting my belief that Napleton's is a complete joke; they lack honestly, they lack respect, integrity, and so clearly organization. Their ignorance to detail(s) have staff members calling attempting to schedule an oil change appointment that [ideally] does not need to be address for at least another 4 months. Get it together, Napleton's. More
