Experience at Napelton Would like to start by saying the sales workers were always really polite and respectful, but that is about the only positive thing about this dealers Would like to start by saying the sales workers were always really polite and respectful, but that is about the only positive thing about this dealership. Below I'll lay out a list of all the things that I found quite repulsive and disrespectful while trying to purchase a used 2018 Honda Accord in the order they unfolded. It is important to note that I am a 22 year old graduating from college, which the dealership used to try to take advantage of me. 1. They have a sales manager named Jonathan that I began to email and he refused to talk price at all over email and insisted that I come to the dealership to meet with him. I agreed and when I showed up to the dealership to talk with him I was told that he is never actually at the store but only handles all the online matters. 2. From here I worked with a very nice sales lady and test drove the car. All was going fine and they wanted to try and determine what kind of deal they could work out for a loan. The car was listed at $20K and when they came back with a monthly payment and length I did the math and the total price I was going to end up paying would have been $29K which is an absolutely ridiculous interest rate. At this point I told them I would find my own financing and attempted to negotiate the price of the car. They refused to budge and I walked out of the dealership. 3. Roughly a week later the dealership called me and informed me that they were still interested in my business and would like to make a deal possible. I emailed the dealership to try to discuss price before driving to the dealership but they refused to discus over email and insisted that I again go to the dealership and sit down directly with a "VIP Sales Manager". When I showed up and told them I was to talk directly to a sales manager they insisted that all of the sales team were called VIP sales managers and I had to start the process over again, but I agreed in hopes they would negotiate price. 4. Once we sat down with the sales man he stated that the car was listed at $21K online and when we corrected him that it was $20K he showed us the price which was raised to $21K a couple hours before our meeting. This was a very shady move used by the dealer and when we showed him the price history he agreed to "negotiate" which resulted in them coming down to the original $20K price and refusing to go any lower. This was very frustrating since we were lead to believe over phone and email that they would negotiate before driving out there. 5. Before walking out of the dealership the salesman told me that someone else was coming to look at the car at 6:30 that day and that is why they wouldn't go any lower. This was a fat lie because we were sitting in the dealership at 6:15 when this was occurring and there is no way any dealership would schedule two different people at the same time to buy the same car. After this we promptly walked out of the dealership. 6. The same night around 9 at night the general manager of the store called me and said he still wanted to sell me the car. Finally, he started to negotiate price with me and when I pointed out that another dealership had almost the same car listed at $19,200 he agreed that he would sell me the car for that price and that he would call again in the morning to schedule when we could do the paperwork the next day. 7. The next day rolled around and I missed a call from him, but in his message he mentioned that he sees a worked with a salesman and had an offer of $19,200 but that I would need to meet in the middle at $19,600 to make a deal. This was infuriating because he was the one that I made the deal with the previous night. I returned his call and email stating that I was willing to buy the car for $19,200 but would not be renegotiating the price. I never got a response to either of these messages and left simply to believe that they no longer wanted my business. Overall, the dealership operates poorly and looks to take advantage of you. I would like to hope others have a better experience, but I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More

Our Finance guy, Patrick finished the deal quickly and was very helpful in explaining everything financially to us! I highly recommend anyone to go to Napleton Nissan for their next car purchase! The “napleton experience” that you will receive is pretty bad. I counted the other day and I’ve purchased 15 cars in 14 years (my wife and I) and have been to many many dealers in the STL metro. There are bad. I counted the other day and I’ve purchased 15 cars in 14 years (my wife and I) and have been to many many dealers in the STL metro. There are only two I would not recommend and Napleton is absolutely one I would steer clear from. Communication horrible and I have a feeling looking at other reviews too, that they truly don’t care about the customers. I had a very small problem that could have been fixed and how they handled it has lead me to advise others to go elsewhere (there are plenty of other dealers around town that it’s not worth risking it with these folks.) I was a little worried going in because although I had a pre-approved loan offer on a vehicle I was worried my down payment and credit score wouldn’t be enough to finance a car. Chris Henry and Dan Loggins pre-approved loan offer on a vehicle I was worried my down payment and credit score wouldn’t be enough to finance a car. Chris Henry and Dan Loggins was very helpful from the moment I walked in. They were able to get me in something I liked with an even lower monthly payment than initially stated. They worked with me with limited credit and limited down payment. I’m a new car owner and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. Thanks Chris and Dan I appreciate all your hard work. More

I went to this dealer to look at buying a used vehicle. Their "system wasn't working" so they took my keys before they would let me test drive the car. When I got back, I attempted to ascertain their asking price. They ran a credit application WITHOUT MY CONSENT before they would discuss pricing with me. After being pressured to verbally accept a deal, I asked for the carfax to have some time to think. The salesperson retreated to another room while I looked it over. I decided it was not the dealer to buy a car at, and I opted to leave. I waved at the salesperson through a window. They did not come over. I had to go knock on the door and ask for my keys back in order to leave. Absolutely slimy, shady, sleazy dealer. DO NOT go to this dealership. More
My salesman was extremely nice. His name was Brad and if he worked at another dealership I would work with him again. The “deal maker” on the other hand was absolutely horrible. I don’t remember his name bu he worked at another dealership I would work with him again. The “deal maker” on the other hand was absolutely horrible. I don’t remember his name but he was very condescending and very, very pushy. I knew the financing and interest rate I could get as I had already talked to my bank. Yet, he kept trying to push a 14% interest rate and an 8 year loan. I purchased a truck at fair market price for a vehicle in excellent condition, or so I thought. However, it has turned out to be a very unreliable vehicle with A LOT of covered up issues. Expenses so far are at about $1200 with much more to come. I’ve had to detail the truck due to the lack of detailing at the dealership. After, two days, and a lot of time and money, the vehicle is pristine, inside and out. Next, the plastic cover over the head light appears to have been super glued on, or at least attempted. That came lose and will be over $900 to fix as you have to replace the entire headlight. Lastly, at least for now, the vehicle doesn’t start sometimes. You can drive it somewhere and come back to it and it won’t start. Everything works on the dash but no power to the starter until you turn the key off then on 20-40 times. Battery is good as well as alternator. So far I’ve heard nothing from the dealer. I’ve called multiple times and asked to speak to a manger many times but I haven’t heard anything promising, nor have I spoke to a manger, ever. I would NEVER shop at this place again. Nor, would I have my vehicle serviced here. STAY AWAY! More
Forced to pay for UNAUTHORIZED WORK My son took his car for an oil change only. After the oil change he was given an invoice for Oil change and added labor charges for tire rotation and My son took his car for an oil change only. After the oil change he was given an invoice for Oil change and added labor charges for tire rotation and some visual 10 million point inspection ( which is a fraud anyway). They did not get any prior approval from my son for tire rotation and inspection. At the end he was told that he has to pay for all that. My son being a 20 years old, was getting late for his class just paid them to get his car back so he could get to his class. I talked to the service manager the next day about it who rudely said that there is nothing he can do about it as my son have signed the invoice which meant he agreed to the charges (Even though my son was not even informed of the extra work prior to performing it). After three days of oil change we noticed oil leak on our driveway. Called Napleton who asked us to bring in the car. Sure enough the washer on the drain plug was not installed right. This sort of carelessness can be expected from a mechanic working under a tree shade and not an authorized Nissan dealer. A very unscrupulousness business. I wish i could give it no star. Stay away.
