With this appointment, my wife took our 2005 Hyundia for an oil change and was told a wait of 1 1/2 hour will be needed that day. No price was told to her. The oil requested by my wife was Mobil 1 since this is all we use in every car or truck for years. After 3 hour wait and a bill of over $100.00 the car was ready. As you can imagine, my wife called in shock and upset. I told her to pay get get out of there. We did call to complain and a person called "Ziggy" responded with excuses??? 3 hour wait, 2X the time told, and a bill of $100.00 for a Mobil 1 oil change? $12+ per quart? ) Just the day before, a Chevy Dealer did our Suburban for $62.00. Yes, Mobil 1 and 1 more quart than the Hyundia. My goodness.... More
I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. The sales staff was great, they answered all my questions and made sure I made an informed buying decision. It took me 2 days to decide if i wanted to buy the car and they went the extra mile to make sure my car wasn't sold while I waited to buy it. I was not sure if I had the best deal so I shopped around. Other dealers had the car but in the end, the price was great and I felt comfortable buying from Napleton. I had a 2000 Impala with 278000 miles and even though the car isn't worth that much, they gave me 650 dollars for it. I negotiated with them very strongly but I never felt disrespected and in the end we both came to an agreement that was fair for the vehicle. I walked out on them twice but both times there was no feeling or high pressure that made me feel like I had to do the deal right away. I will recommend people to visit this dealership. Even though car buying is sometimes a stressful situation, I felt satisfied buying a car there and encourage people to do the same. cdelgado@csu.edu More
I had a good experience with this dealer ship my salesman george was very kind and patient and helpful when it came to me choosing my car I had purchased a 08 fusion that had a few electrical problems and i george was very kind and patient and helpful when it came to me choosing my car I had purchased a 08 fusion that had a few electrical problems and i was able to trade the car in for a hyundai santa fe which I haven't had problems with yet. all the staff was very friendly and funny and kind including the men in sales and the service department. They have solved the problems that I've had and helped with financing. Overall a good experience with buying my car! Thanks guys! More

If you do, make sure you get all the info before you waste your time. I was contacted by Samaria, a few weeks ago. I applied for vehicle financing online (or so i thought) and Samaria called me a few days later. She told me that I was approved for up to $25,000 on any vehicle. Considering, I have played the "dealership financing" game before, I grilled her. I asked her what the interest rate was, what bank approved me and who exactly was she. I was very much on guard. She told me that she worked for "Great Northern Bank" and that she was NOT an employee of River Oaks Hyundai. I asked her if I had an approval or pre-approval and she said that I had an approval. She even went on to tell me the difference between approval and pre-approval. So I reluctanly set up an appointment with her for the next day. The following day, I got a call from a woman by the name of Augusta Lee. She was calling to confirm my appointment for later that day. Considering I was already skeptical, I started to grill her. I asked her all kinds of questions and she had pretty much the same answers as this Samaria chick. I asked whether my credit needed to be ran again, and she said, "oh no, we already have you approved!" So when I got off work that day, I went in. I asked for Samaria and she immediately handed me 3 papers; a credit check auth. sheet, an application for financing and she needed me to write down 6 references. I didn't question the paperwork (although I should have). I filled them out and never saw her again. I was greeted by a salesman name Alvin Locke. He was very, very polite and honest. After going through the banks that they deal with, I was not approved for any financing because my current car loan was too new. (I had just bought it 6 months prior). I asked Alvin about this Great Northern Bank approval and he said they don't even have a finance relationship with this bank! This dealership has very deceptive and unethical practices. Samaria actually works for the dealership and she is merely a referral girl. She pulls applications from online and calls people in. She is willing to tell them anything to get them in the door. I am filing a complaint against them. Although my sales man was very nice, the dealership as a whole is horrible. The previous poster that talked about her Cadillac problems at this dealership, I believe she was actually there on the day I was there. They have horrible customer service. Please go elsewhere. There is a very nice hyundai dealership not too far from there (World Hyundai in Matteson). More

My mom was looking to upgrade the size of her car. There was no particular make/model in mind; she just wanted a sedan. To be honest, we'd gone to Napleton because of a mailer rec'd. I had reviewed Napleton's rating prior to visiting the dealership and was very skeptical, based on the reviews I felt like it was HIGHLY probable that we'd just do a "look-see." and leave. So, we went in with an attitude of "don't try anything; we are on to you." We advised the salesman (Graig) that we had seen their ratings and was ONLY there because of the flyer (lease a 2011 Sonata for $199). My mom wasn't able to lease (credit score). Graig went out of his way to ensure that my mother rec'd the "deal" she requested. Originally, my mom was only interested in leasing but, the deal that was worked out was such that she purchased a car. She is very pleased. We can only vouch for Graig - so if you're looking to not "get the run-around"...ask for Graig. So, unlike the other reviewers...based on our personal interactions, Napleton gets kudos. More
