Livid!!! Emailed the dealership about vehicle listed online received call stating vehicle was AVAILABLE and setup appt and test drive. Visited the dealership to look at the vehicle, test drove, filled online received call stating vehicle was AVAILABLE and setup appt and test drive. Visited the dealership to look at the vehicle, test drove, filled out finance app, got "approved", left deposit only to find out 2 days later that the vehicle was pending a deal. So after the time wasted, gas wasted, and deposit that was left on the vehicle the GM (Ziggy) claimed that we were aware that someone else had a contract on the car. IF that were the case why would we show back up or even leave a deposit on a car that was "SOLD"? Who shows a car that has a contract pending? To add insult to injury I took the vehicle to another dealership to be serviced, why would I waste my time taking a SOLD car to get inspected? This was a very deceptive sales practice and the vehicle was sold from underneath us. The staff was practicing in a very unscrupulous manner. All he could do is come up with excuses when confronted about the deal. Very unprofessional and dishonest. BUYER BEWARE, make sure you get everything in writing if you decide to deal with this dealership. I don't recommend anyone visiting this location, I am sure that you can find a dealer that will stand behind what they say. THIS IS NOT THE ONE!! Lastly its about LOYALTY, HONESTY, and best business practices, he saw the oppty to make a quick sale and took it. Ps this would have been the THIRD vehicle purchased from Napelton Auto Group, never again!! More
I purchased a Kia Optima and my father-in-law purchased a Kia Rio at Arnell Kia. My husband and I saw an ad for a used Kia Sorento at Napleton Kia, we needed a 6-passenger vehicle, and Odeh was very helpful Kia Rio at Arnell Kia. My husband and I saw an ad for a used Kia Sorento at Napleton Kia, we needed a 6-passenger vehicle, and Odeh was very helpful in getting us a new Kia Sorento with discounts, a decent trade-in amount for our used vehicle and pretty close to our price range that we were willing to pay for the used vehicle and threw in rubber Sorento floormats. We are very pleased with the service we received and would recommend them highly. I was a little disappointed with the fact Arnell Kia did not offer me or my father-in-law the extended Gap Insurance coverage bumper to bumper for the life of our loans and we had to purchase rubber floormats for both vehicles. I talked to the Used Car Manager, Bobby Clifford, about the Jaguar XF, because of the low price I saw it advertised for. He answered all of my questions and concerns, so I decided to set up an appointment the Jaguar XF, because of the low price I saw it advertised for. Came in to purchase a white 2011 Mazda3. After it had been on the lot for months, the price kept coming down (roughly by $2,500) - finally in the ballpark of what I wanted to pay (I had inquired about th been on the lot for months, the price kept coming down (roughly by $2,500) - finally in the ballpark of what I wanted to pay (I had inquired about this car previously and they were firm that they couldn't not negotiate and lower the price at all). When Cleveland went to write up the price which was $12,790 sticker price, he came back with the final price, it jumped more than $3k to $15,800. Because I know my tax rate and the approximate cost for new license plates, I knew I should've been looking at no more than $1500 additional cost, so I asked for the breakdown. As soon as I saw they tried to charge me a $750 destination fee (buyer beware - you should NEVER pay a destination fee on a used vehicle) we were out of there. I'm sure some people fall for these sales tactics, but I don't. That car can sit for a few more months. Me? I'm the proud owner of a new car from Thomas Nissan in Joliet and couldn't be happier. The sales staff was very informed and great about answering all of my questions to ensure that I was informed and comfortable with my decision. I never felt pressured and they were very patient with me in my final decision making. I spent a fair amount of time researching and visiting other dealers before my purchase. Ziggy and George were by far the best sales staff I dealt with and beat the price of two other dealers without game playing.
