I arrived at the dealer with a time-limit (40 minutes) and a price in mind. Both Dennis and Mark were very friendly and understood that I wanted a car, but had a "NOT TO PAY MORE THAN THIS PRICE" in mind. and a price in mind. Mark came right out and asked, "What will it take to get you to buy a car today". I told him my out-the-door price and said it included my trade-in. I had been to several other dealers and was not happy with the bait-and-switch -or- delaying tactics. This dealership was very different. Mark agreed upon my price and I was out of the dealership within 40 minutes. I left a deposit and within 1 business they said they located my exact car and that I could pick it up on the next business day. When I picked up the car, Dennis spent about 35 minutes with me explaining most of the components of the car. This has probably been my best experience buying a new car ever. I recently bought a 2014 CX-5 from Continental Mazda in Naperville. My sales person was Gabriel Jimenez. This was my first new car purchase and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I received. Gabe was absolutely the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. I test drove the 2013 CX-5 a few months before I actually was ready to purchase it. He spent about 45 minutes on the test drive with me. He wasn't pushy when I was in the dealership, and afterwards Gabe called me very periodically to check in (maybe once a month-once every other month) and to let me know that the 2014s were out. Gabe's approach was very respectful, which was very nice due to a different experience that I had at a Toyota dealership where the salesperson called me every week pressuring me to buy a car. To make my experience even better, Gabe willing corresponded with me via email, as I wasn't able to make it into the dealership due to my work schedule. The quote that he gave me was significantly lower than 10 other dealers that I had requested quotes from. In addition, they didn't have the car that I wanted with the exact specifications that I asked for in stock. After reviewing the inventory of surrounding dealerships, Gabe found only two cars that fit my specifications or could be built to match, within IL and surrounding states. After running the numbers, Gabe gave me the exact out the door price for each. The car that was the best deal was located 2 ½ hours away. Gabe actually drove the 2 ½ hours to get my car and brought it the 2 ½ hours back in one day. I was able to pick it up that afternoon. In addition, Gabe gave me an outstanding tutorial on how to run all the features inside and outside the car, with the recommendation that I check in with him after two weeks of driving the car so that he could answer any questions that I may have. I can't imagine buying my car from anyone nicer and more genuine, I highly recommend working with Gabe. To make it all even better, my CX-5 is beautiful! Thanks Gabe! I couldn't be more pleased! More

I was at Continental Mazda looking for a new CX-5, and I was really happy with the car. The staff, however, is another story. I have first worked with Dell, who was really helpful. When I came back to talk a little bit more about the car, I was told that he left early, so I worked with Jeremy instead. He was really helpful too, and he helped answer all my questions. Once we came back from the test drive, Mark took over to talk over the pricing and next steps. Mark is by far the most unprofessional, and annoying sales manager I have worked with. He was so pushy, and tried to make jokes which were not funny at all...His professionalism was horrible, and he was almost laying down while he was talking to me. I understand that I may be a younger customer and he may be more relaxed, but that doesn't give him the right to disrespect the customers. Although I had a horrible experience, I decided to give them one last chance and went back there 4 days later, stating that I didn't want to work with Mark. To my surprise Dell (the first person I've talked to) had quit, and Jeremy had left early. Therefore, I had to talk to a new sales person now. Every single time I came in, I talked with a different person, and we went through the whole process of getting information and what I am looking for over and over again...Overall really annoying experience, and probably one of the main reasons I didn't go with the Mazda. The one good side, was that the General Manager called me afterwards, and apologized for the bad experience. He was kind enough to offer free oil change even to make things better. Even though I did not accept the offer, it was a good gesture and I was promised that the service will get much better from now on. More

I'm looking to add a new vehicle due to my son turning 16 in six weeks. Was greeted by Gabriel upon entering the showroom and after telling him about my timeline and requirements (mpg, style, fun turning 16 in six weeks. Was greeted by Gabriel upon entering the showroom and after telling him about my timeline and requirements (mpg, style, fun to drive and quality) he did a very extenesive review of how Mazda could fit my needs and recommended the Mazda 3 and CX5 including very comprehenive test drives. Was very impreesed with the quality, style and performance of the cars as well as Gabriel's knowledge. Though I'm still about six weeks out Mazda has bubbled to the top. More

He was very professional, never rushing us into a decision or acting like an aggressive salesman. After choosing the 2013 CX5 the actual negotiations were painless and the purchase price was negotiated with fairness. I would like to recommend Continental Mazda when purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. I had recently been in an accident, totaling my car. The sales consultant, Dell Kegley, provided me with knowledgeable information with regard to leasing a similar vehicle. Denny Vant, sales manager, expedited a lease agreement based upon my particular circumstances. This indiviual had also gone above and beyond in this regard during my first visit to this dealership several years ago. I would recommend that anyone looking for a new vehicle visit this location. They are willing to work with you and go the extra mile to insure that your expectations are met. This is done in a professional manner without the pressure or hassles that some dealerships convey. I was welcomed as if I just bought a new car off the lot. People were friendly and no one tried to sell me anything I didn't need given the car is 20+ years old. Kyle (my technician) was exceptional...a great consultant on my vehicle. I am trying to restore it to a high standard, and I must say the most friendly, attentive and helpful dealership employee I've ever met was George Stratikis. His knowledge of hard-to-find parts was phenomenal & he and made several great recommendations for me. I took quite a bit of his time researching different items to order.
