My salesman Sam was thorough, nice and not pushy. He answered all my questions and concerns. I called him about a specific car that was advertized. He promised to call me if someone else bought it before I could get there, since I was coming from quite a distance. I brought my daughter and her girlfriend, and he didn’t mind all of our questions. The manager Peter was efficient and effectively handled problems. He was a really nice guy. The service guy answered my questions about the air conditioner with real English, not technical jibber! I really like these guys. They are really a family concern. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. More
I went into this dealership to purchase a Jeep I found online. The salesman said it was it good condition and nothing was wrong with it. Before purchasing we took it to our own mechanic and he said it was online. The salesman said it was it good condition and nothing was wrong with it. Before purchasing we took it to our own mechanic and he said it was leaking oil from everywhere possible and required thousands of dollars of repair. The dealer overfilled it with oil to compensate the oil leaks and even left a funnel under the hood, so they were aware it required repairs. They still tried to sell us this vehicle and wasted my entire day to get it looked at rather than just telling me it needed the repairs. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, and if you do buy a used car from them be sure to take it to an independent mechanic first. More
My name is April,I purchased a new 2012 GMC Terrain on May 10 and didn;t get it until May 15 2012 from Libertyville Buick GMC. First of all I had a great salesperson Soto Manny, He did not play any games May 10 and didn;t get it until May 15 2012 from Libertyville Buick GMC. First of all I had a great salesperson Soto Manny, He did not play any games with me like other salespeople do at other dealer, and He was a great person to work with. But on the other hand the suv I picked out they did not have the color they said it would take 24 to 72 hrs. to get, thing was going so well there I said I will wait, well you know what happen after that, I waited from Thursday to Tuesday yes five days later 24 to 72 hrs. not. No one had call me to let me know anything, So I call and I got let me check here and let me call there and we will call you back , so I waited and waited for hrs. and days no call back. So I call back only to get we will call your back now I get a call a day before the car comes in. I go to pickup my new car at night and noticed that the seats were not the right color I picked out, but everything else looked ok in their lighting outside so I tooked the car, the next morning my car looked another color, so I called the dealer any they say no that’s the right color I didn’t want to go back and forth with them again because I love my new car it’s just not the color I order. More

Approximately one and a half years ago Sept.2010 I went to Libertyville Buick GMC to see the Buick Enclave and no more then a few minutes of walking around Manny approached me and identified himself and as to Libertyville Buick GMC to see the Buick Enclave and no more then a few minutes of walking around Manny approached me and identified himself and asked if he could help me. I told him I was looking to purchase a Buick Enclave, and he asked if I had seen the interior of one and I said no. Manny immediately brought me inside to the showroom and showed me the interior of one of the Enclaves. Manny was very polite, professional and was really interested in helping me out acording to what my needs were and the vehicle I was looking to buy. We talked for a while and I was treated like family. Manny introduced me to the owners who were also very polite approachable and professional. So much so that I told Manny that I would return and that because of the way I was received and treated, that I would definitely come back and buy the car from him. Unfortunately I became Ill and was unable to go back till recently in March 2012. Manny during this time called me from time to time to see how I was doing and advised me not to worry about the car, but to take care of myself and whenever I was ready that he would be there to help me. Well as promised I returned in March 2012 when I bought the 2012 Enclave fully loaded, (the ultimate Enclave I call it). My overall experience was great and satifying because the price was right, the workmanship was of exceptional quality for all the additions I had installed on it to include tinting the windows. Customer service as part of the Libertyville Buick GMC family is very good, fast, efficient and exceptional, (free car washes during business hours a plus). The process from beginning to end, ordering the vehicle was less then one week with no headaches and delivered exactly the way I wanted. I would and have already recomended this family to others who may be in the market for a good reliable vehicle with exceptional service afterwards and becoming part of the family. When you buy from this family, you not only get a quality vehicle but you also gain a family from the workers to the owners who take care of your vehicle and your needs for a lifetime. You become part of the Buick GMC family. I'm glad there still exists dealers like this that are not pushing cars but serving people especially in these economic times with meeting their needs. .. Is it possible to say that I like my car but I am completely disappointed in the experience? It only proves to me that it is impossible to get a car sales person that is truly interested in helping y completely disappointed in the experience? It only proves to me that it is impossible to get a car sales person that is truly interested in helping you find the best car for your money. The day after i purchased my Buick I discovered the dealer had another identical car in its inventory but with more options, less miles and the same price as I had paid for my car. I called and told them I wanted to take advantage of the 3 day exchange policy they Had and get the better car. I was shocked I hadn't been made aware of this other car. If Chris really had my best interests at heart (which he continually told me he did and I believed him) then he would have shown me the better car to begin with. I unfortunately trusted him and was taken advantage of. But I figured no big deal, I would just exchange it since I was well within the 3 day period. They then told me I would have to pay an additional $500 for the car (they had discounted the other car by $500, and I would have to pay the licensing fee of $300 again for the 2nd car. Even though I felt they should offer an even exchange since they had failed to tell me about this car, I agreed to pay the addl fees. I told Chris to call me when the other car was cleaned and ready to go. He took all day to get back to me. Finally he called and told me the car was cleaned and ready. I drove out there to complete the exchange only to find a car that reeked of smoke. Chris then said he DIDN'T have the car car cleaned (even though he told me he had had it cleaned). I certainly wasn't going to pay an addl $800 for a car that smelled. The dealership obviously had made every attempt to make it very difficult for me to exchange this car under their "worry-free" exchange program that they offer. I trusted them to show me the best car they had in their inventory that met my needs and they did not. Then, they chose to charge me an addl $800 rather than value a client who is still in the market for yet another 2 cars in the next 15 months. Finally,even when they knew they had gotten me to agree to pay another $800 they failed to properly clean the car that they supposedly took an entire day to prepare for me. It's unfortunate that this dealership uses deception, evasion, and strong arm techniques to sell their vehicles. More
Went to buy a new GMC Terrain and they found the one I wanted. They wanted a $1000 deposit, but i only gave them $250. For unforeseen reasons I had to postpone the sale. This made them angry and treated me with humility and aggressiveness. My son, who is a marine was leaving for Afghanistan and his mother was having great difficulty with it. All I asked for was more time so I could deal with the situation. The sales manager told me the wasn't his problem and needed to buy the car he got for me. When I refused, he said he won't refund my deposit. Even though it doesn't seem like a lot of money, I live on disability and it's a lot to me. But I would rather go without than to step foot in their place again. More
I am so happy I went back to Libertyville Buick GMC I had bought a car there before and they were the best. They have Great sales floor agents and Financeing is a breeze. The Sales Manager JC is SO Helpful i bought a car there before and they were the best. They have Great sales floor agents and Financeing is a breeze.
