I had been to a couple dealerships, and the experience here was well worth it. The Sales Manager had said it was all about the experience. Thanks to him and to Radek the salesman on my new car. Not sure where to even start on this one. I had a very long trip ahead of me and was in need of an oil change. I get to the dealership, state what I want, and they tell me I'm due for an inspection since long trip ahead of me and was in need of an oil change. I get to the dealership, state what I want, and they tell me I'm due for an inspection since I'm about to hit 90K miles. Sounds reasonable, and the pamphlet shows that I will be getting a number of services done. The cost is $350+tax and comes to a little over $400. What was done for the car? An oil change, replacement of oil and engine filters, "brake service", and an inspection of the car. A tune up doesn't cost this much and the amount of work I got done for the car should not exceed over $150. Here's the kicker though. They find I'm in need of new brake pads for the front tires, a new car battery, and new tires. The individual cost they give me are $325, $210, and $1,100 respectively. The person who I'm speaking to goes ahead and stands up tall and grabs a cup of coffee with the biggest grin on his face because he knows he has me. He cuts me a deal while I decide to do my research. Brake pads don't exceed $50 (rotors were not replaced in the service) each, a car battery costs $100 at most, and the tires are ~$200 each. This means I'm paying over $500 in labor, and this is not including the inspection which is also incredibly overpriced. A little icing on the cake: They told me my car would be finished by 2 or 2:30PM, and it's not finished until almost 4PM. I clearly got taken advantage of because I didn't bother to do my research before hand, and that is my fault. What they don't know is they make more money from repeat customers. You can bet they won't get another cent from me. More
I am a Costco member and asked them to recommend a dealer and they recommended Loren and i was contacted by Irv Gordon who was the Costco professional at Loren. He asked me what the bottom line was at the and they recommended Loren and i was contacted by Irv Gordon who was the Costco professional at Loren. He asked me what the bottom line was at the other dealer and he said that their price was much lower. I was hesitant to come in because I'm in Chicago and Glenview is about 22 miles away and I didn't want to have to go there for service later on. When I got there he was with another customer so I waited in the lounge and then he finally got to me and started to do some figures and, in his words, told me that "you were xxxxx" by the other dealer. Shortly thereafter, he turned me over to his assistant, Rodek, and he worked some figures and the ultimate bottom line was $25,500 or $2,500 more than the first dealer so I started to walk out and he followed me to my vehicle and tried to argue about its trade-in value and I told him that that did not matter because the bottom line was what mattered. He then walked over to another man on the lot, David Shou(?) who was allegedly the owner and he said to me, as I remembered, would you sign if I brought it down to $22,500? And I agreed because that would have been $500 less than my other offer. So we sat in his office and he started to write down some figures and look at his computer. He spent about 15 minutes at this which I couldn't understand since we'd already agreed on the bottom line. In any event, he wrote it all down and presented it to me while continuing some banter and that distracted me to the point where I didn't realize that his bottom line was at $25,000. I don't know if it was because I was careless or because of his obfuscation that I missed that, but, after I'd signed everything and got home and reviewed the figures, I realized that I was taken, but it was too late at that point. The following Tuesday, they'd gotten the car in the color I wanted so I went in to pick it up but I also wanted to confront them with the fact that they didn't show me the Costco book and price and then they argued that it didn't apply since the car wasn't in stock and that the pice was off the MSRP and not the invoice price, which wasn't the fact. As a palliative David agreed to take of $400 which was hardly anywhere near what my loss was. More
Tom Mchugh told me that I could purchase a 2012 Accent for $12800 with air/cd package. A couple of days later I called and told him wanted to go ahead with purchase, he said he would call back with grand for $12800 with air/cd package. A couple of days later I called and told him wanted to go ahead with purchase, he said he would call back with grand total after taxes and title work. Waited a few hours called back to find out that they no longer honor that price. Spoke to Manager, was told that no contract no agreement. Didn't matter what was said. lol First time I have been told that they lied and that it doesn't matter. Suggest no one ever go to a Loren dealership, they aren't to be trusted. More
We walked in just to look at a car. We fell in love with the Sonata. Jordie was very good at telling us about the car. He is a very good salesman. I will send my friends to Jordan in the future. The manager came to say hello and the business manager was also very nice. We drove home with the car and we could not be more satisfied. This is our first Hyundai. We had been to the Auto Show and we liked the Sonata and the Santa Fe. The ratings on the Hyundai helped us know that we should take a look at this car first. More

We did questions were answered in full and we were allowed to test drive two different models. Mr. Gross was very informative and straightforward. We did not have to "haggle" over the price. He showed us around the dealership and explained the different features of the Sonata so that we understood. He took his time with us in every way. The Finance Manager was very helpful in getting us a very good rate and was able to make our payments very affordable. The car was readied for us quickly. It was probably the most pleasant car-buying experience we have ever had in 38 years. More
