Edward W. Napleton opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise. When that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. (Ed) Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 79 franchises in eight states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

They sell cars with defects Please do NOT use this dealership, as they do not hire quality techs to work on vehicles! They sold my car (brand new car) with an oil leak! After several times going back to the dealer they were able to finally fix the problem! Then I made the mistake of going back for an oil change many months later, and they removed the coolant cap and never replaced it!! I seriously believe these techs are on drugs or are just plain negligent. You will not enjoy dealing with the "service" department, as they are clueless and should not be working on vehicles. They only care about the sale, after that you can forget about "quality" service from this dealer. Do not fall into the trap pf using this dealer, you will regret that decision. Find a reputable dealer. AVOID NAPLETON like the plague. More

Fantastic Sales Tony was an absolute delight to work with! This is my first experience buying a car and I'm afraid I gave Tony a bit of a rough time, but he took it all in stride with a smile and good humor. Over the past three days, Tony has proven himself trustworthy and I know he has gone above and beyond to advocate for me and get me the best possible deal for my car. When Mykal showed me the price break down the incorrect model. He promised it was the model we were discussing and this was just an error on the sheet. After four hours in the building and a migraine, I did not notice in finance that the car was actually an entirely different model we had not discussed. Napleton claims no responsibility and the manager is sending me to voicemail with no return call. I will absolutely never purchase another Kia because of this poor customer service. If you want a Kia- go to a different dealer. More
