Walked in, told them I had an appointment set up to see the vehicle with (gave the name of who I had been in contact with the set up the appointment). Found out that person was actually from a call center over 900 miles away. Had me sit down while the pulled up the info for the appointment, only to then be told I needed to wait because they had someone else getting ready to test drive the vehicle. After 30+ minutes we were able to drive the vehicle once the other customer returned with it, however once we returned from the test drive had to quickly get out as the previous customer was already in the works of purchasing the vehicle. Very unorganized, and no respect for me and my time as a potential customer. Will not be considering this dealer for purchases in the future. More
If I could give negative stars, I would without hesitation. I’ve done several car deals in my life, and never in all of my life have I had such a horrible experience anywhere. I was warned when abo hesitation. I’ve done several car deals in my life, and never in all of my life have I had such a horrible experience anywhere. I was warned when about to test drive a vehicle that it was low on fuel, so we couldn’t go far. It was so low on fuel it didn’t register how many miles left. I was told we could go two roundabouts down and come back. The salesman actually said I hope we don’t run out of gas. Then he proceeded to bombard me with an overloaded explanation of features that he could see from where he sat in the back. Upon returning to the showroom, I asked what the sale price was after all the fees on the vehicle I drove, as well as a Sonata N line and limited. He came back with only the Palisade, and the quote was $19,000 over sticker. Yes that included the turn in of my lease which they low balled and put me owing $2,000. Which is expected, but I can’t figure out how they got to $71,000+ for the palisade. I obviously said no to that and asked him to move on to the quotes for the Sonata’s and he went and got his manager who came over and thanked me for coming in but you wouldn’t be able to meet my requests. I told the sales man before all this that my top dollar was $55,000 that I’d like to keep it under that. So the manager didn’t even give prices for the two Sonata’s and when I asked him about those, he said you were asking about the palisade. He then proceeded to tell me that he had a showroom to keep open, and employees to pay and how they needed to survive as well. So back to me asking about the sonata’s after he replied that we were talking about a palisade. I said yes but I also asked about these two. He looked confused and as he started to speak I cut him off, and got up after telling him I was no longer interested in doing business at Napleton ever again after that conversation. I told him to have a good day. The Sales MANAGER Zach, proceeded to chuckle and tell me to have a good day as well. Then he and the other salesman gathered in your all glass showroom talking and laughing while staring at me in turns. So while you say your business model is professionalism. Please show me where it is? Because as of this year with Shane and Zach I saw absolutely none of that. Which is sad because the salesman and manager I worked with last year were amazing. I truly hope no one else ever goes through this, but I fear that no one there cares, and do nothing to even address these problems. FYI to all customers the Hyundai dealership in Noblesville has much better salesman and they are NOT doing any of these absurd market mark ups. I will warn everyone I recommended to go to Napleton after last year to stay away as things are obviously no longer pleasant and business is horrible. More
