Edward W. Napleton opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise. When that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. (Ed) Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 79 franchises in eight states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

I would give this dealer 0 stars if that was an option. I am 58 years old and bought 25 cars in my life and never had such a horrible experience as I did with this dealer. Dont expect Napelton to honor their service contract REPAIRS ..EXCEPT OIL CHANGE.. I M GETTING THAT CHECKED TO SEE IF THEY DID THAT CORRECT. ETHAN service guy left my car outside and went to Lunch af REPAIRS ..EXCEPT OIL CHANGE.. I M GETTING THAT CHECKED TO SEE IF THEY DID THAT CORRECT. ETHAN service guy left my car outside and went to Lunch after informing me they couldnt tell me why my engine light was on after purchasing just April 12 2021. They will not fix my car at all. No loaners to give me EVEN IF THEY WOULD FIX IT. DONT BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM!!!! More

I just want to start by saying this is my first vehicle purchase and it was not a good one. One hour away from the dealership on a six hour drive I get a call from Tyler that the vehicle has hail damage, t purchase and it was not a good one. One hour away from the dealership on a six hour drive I get a call from Tyler that the vehicle has hail damage, that would have been cool to know before I left maybe... but I'm an hour away lets go look at it. After standing in the lobby for about 5 hours waiting to close a deal on a $50,000 car we finally get to talk to the financial manager. The hail damage was fixed and they did a great job. Car was delivered to my house but not before the delivery guys decided to see what she's got in her 149MPH (lojack snitched) in a car you're delivering? I think you forgot that you don't own this car it is mine. Anyways car is finally in my hands, you would think maybe they would clean it a little? No not here, glass (from hail damage) ended up cutting my friends foot. The cup holders had dirt all in them and there is still tape residue from where they replaced the glass... I can't recommend this dealership they don't care about you or your vehicle. More
