BEWARE and DO NOT USE GEORGE as a sales rep. I went in to buy out my lease on a 2019 Honda, with the original contract in hand. George told me the payoff amount was thousands more than what was written in my lease, plus I would owe thousands more in taxes and fees. When I questioned him, he told me that price was up to Honda and not him. I asked George if he thought it was strange that the number on a SIGNED CONTRACT was invalid, and he said, no he didn't think it was odd. He said it's like this for everyone. He then made us sit there for almost an hour while he had someone "calling Honda" to check. When my husband went to see what was going on, he was in the back chatting with some other reps. We caught him in more lies, but you get the point. We left and I called Honda Auto Nation (Rosemont) for a second opinion, and they let me know I was being scammed. THANK YOU Auto Nation Honda for your honesty! They advised me to call Honda Finance, who also told me I was being scammed, and I bought my lease out through them for the exact number on my lease plus a few hundred (not thousands) in taxes. Do your homework and do not use this dealership. More

But the sales adviser (A.R.) apparently made a mistake with the bill and charged me more than expected. If I had not pointed it out, I would have paid extra. That was avoided eventually and that also was not the first time someone miscalculated the charges on a bill. So, no big deal. She did not give me an inspection checklist either and when I asked for one, she immediately printed a one-page report showing how great everything was on my car. The problem is, as I realize now, the report is for someone else's car! You have to check everything twice at this dealership. The bright side is that I can assure the owner of the vehicle with ~65k mileage that they shall drive their car with confidence. At this point, I don't even know if they performed the "multi-point inspection" on my car. My impression is that some of their advisers are not taking their jobs seriously. More
I had one of the worse experiences with salesperson George and the Sales Manager Andrew at Napleton Honda of Morton Grove. I purchased my first vehicle, a used 2017 Subaru WRX from this dealership and George and the Sales Manager Andrew at Napleton Honda of Morton Grove. I purchased my first vehicle, a used 2017 Subaru WRX from this dealership and after driving from dealership back home 40 miles plus another 20 miles or so the clutch system broke down and other mechanical issues happened. After several calls to the dealership, my vehicle was towed to get service. I purchased a maintenance warranty on the car from the sales team assuring me that it will be a piece of mind and will cover any unexpected problems. I was given a quote of $3,500 to fix an issue that I had not control over and keep in mind the vehicle was driven under 100 miles and only had it for less than one week. The rude attitude I received from the salesperson George and the Manager Andrew who stated, “I don’t care if you get the car fix or not” You bought a used car and “there is no return policy, and this is not our problem since it is a used vehicle”. I believe that no customer should received any kind of unprofessional attitude or this type of unethical behavior. These individuals should not be allowed to speak to customers in such demeaning and unrespectful way. It is unacceptable! I cautioned others to be careful before making a purchase from this dealership and dealing with these individuals who made my first car buying experience a nightmare thus far. I will never recommend any of my family and friends, let alone any other individual to do business with such crooked business. More

Mike was our "salesman" if you would even consider him that considering he didn't make any sales that day with me or the three other families he was helping while there were 5 other salesman just standing around doing nothing. He pulled numbers out of his xxx and quoted them to us. then when we said we still owed on our current car he basically threw his hands up and said he could not help us. He essentially threw my car keys back and me and walked away from us. I tried to ask him why he quoted us monthly payments without running our credit score first; he replied " that's just how we do it here, we aren't going to just run everyone's credit who walks through the door before giving them a quote." I told him that exactly how you should do it so that people know exactly what is going on and don't waste their time there to only leave with nothing. He just shrugged and told me I know where the door is and I am more than welcome to leave or talk to his financial manager. My family and I left because it was at this point we knew this guy had not clue what he was doing and this dealership is a giant scam. They don't even have their staff listed on their website, which should really tell you that this place isn't worth the time, and that they don't have any good salesman and their turn over is too high. Went to Ed Napleton Honda in Morton Grove to see about a Honda Odyssey Touring that had a sticker price around 43.7k or something close to that. Worked with Mustafa and mentioned that I would be trading in Honda Odyssey Touring that had a sticker price around 43.7k or something close to that. Worked with Mustafa and mentioned that I would be trading in my current Odyssey and had an offer from CarMax to purchase for 25.3k. He said great, CarMax is pretty fair in their pricing, we should be able to match. Mr Mustafa comes back with an offer of 23,000 for a trade-in saying its essentially the same thing because we would be saving something like $1860 in taxes. Thought to myself hmm, take what I would save tax wise from trading and put in their own pocket. Ok, I can see that, kind of slick but fair enough, I'll bite. Also noticed it was $340 short of the full 25.3k I would have gotten from CarMax. Thought again, okay fine, its too early to complain about the other few hundred and if thats their offer, cool. Obviously, as any respectable salesman would be, he then comes back with 3 prices for the Touring. A) $36,002 B)$33,842 and C)$32,347. All 3 were for different extended warranties etc. Had to smile inside thinking option A would have me leaving out the door with a $59,000 Odyssey Touring lol. I said thanks Mustafa but I'll pass with all 3. So he said fine, stepped away and came back with the paperwork $49,370 minus $23,000 trade-in which would come out to $26,370 with a final $31,152 out the door. Immediately focusing in on the discrepancy on the tax, I did the math and asked why I'm paying $4,782 in taxes if I'm only suppose to be paying taxes on the price of car minus trade-in which was $26,370. Taxes on that should only be $2175. Where's the other 2.5k coming from? He immediately started mentioning other fees like doc fee's for $300 and some other things. I said, it still doesn't add up to an extra $2,500. He takes a walk to see his manager and comes back and apologizes and says, it was just a mistake, they thought the $23,000 was a downpayment and thus charged you taxes on the whole amount lol. Ok fine, I got passed that. So, in the very end, in my own stupidity, what I failed to realize is that he was trying to sell me the Touring for $49,370 when the sticker said 43.7k. Dumb me, I was ready to close on the deal then and there. So I had to ask, why is that number so much higher than the sticker. He goes on to say, oh its because you will get this extra $2000 package that includes paint protection or something else. I said, but I don't want it. It never mentions that add on in the itemized windows sticker. Mustafa said, of course not, because this is an add on (at that point 43.7k + 2k still doesn't equal $49370). He then goes on to say, there's 2 prices on the window sticker and I was reading it incorrectly. Fair enough, but I did not see any 49k sticker. He then says "look, we have a Honda Elite right behind you, you'll see 2 prices on the sticker and the top price is $55,000". At that point, I was getting frustrated. He kept insisting I incorrectly read the window sticker and kept asking that I stand up and take a walk over to the Elite and see the 55k sticker. Fine, I stood up and walked with him to the Odyssey Elite and the top sticker price was 50.2k LOL. I said you're wrong Mustafa and got pretty upset. He then says, no I meant to show you that whatever the top sticker price is, you have to add at least 5-7k. I don't know how many times this guy can change his story, but obviously at that point, I was like thank you for your time. Btw, I'm only writing this review because in the middle of 'negotations', Mustafa asked that if he sells me this car at the deal we agreed to, I would as a man, honour his request to leave a review for him. Personally, I never really leave reviews, but here you go - as promised. More

The service department at this Castle Honda (now Napleton Honda) took advantage of my mother, a 90 year old woman on a fixed income when she visited the dealer for a simple oil change. The service writer ( Honda) took advantage of my mother, a 90 year old woman on a fixed income when she visited the dealer for a simple oil change. The service writer (Hammad Ashgar) sold her a number of services (transmission fluid exchange, coolant exchange, brake fluid exchange, fuel system service) that were unnecessary for a 2 year old vehicle with 600 miles (yes, 600 miles) and operating properly. The bill totaled over $1,100.00. I have made many attempts to reach the Service Manager Dan who has yet to return any of my calls. It is unfortunate that this dealership chose to prey on an elderly woman. More
