No remorse, no what ifs. Just happiness, as it should be. A win-win. Earlier that day, I walked out of Muller Honda in Highland Park after a very mediocre time consuming "North Shore" experience. I had decided to give that place a shot because they had a certain color in stock that Castle happened to not be carrying at the time. What a waste. They were full of themselves, used to rich folks apt to spend an extra $500-1000 to stay north of Willow Road. At Castle, there were no games. No time consuming tactics to psychologically exhaust you. They understood that I had done my research and were willing to play ball. The trade-in offer was a $1000 better than Muller and the same as Carmax (allowing for greater tax savings); the price on the vehicle was matched to a Costco offer I had 30 miles away and about as low as possible; and the process was exceedingly fair and fast. He wanted to make a deal and not lose me over a few bucks. By the way, as stated on these boards, test drives can be alone, no pressure, just you and the car. --- The finance guy was lightening fast as well. Recently purchased a Honda Pilot from Dan who was worked hard to give me the best price while not doing the oversell/overkill approach. I had researched the same model across 3 other Honda dealerships on North Shore and surrounding area and Dan and Castle Honda had the best price. As a deaf person and a single mom, Dan and Castle Honda worked with me respectfully. They did not stereotype me as an uninformed woman who can't buy a car on her own. They communicated in ways that accommodated my disability. Well done. I am writing this review in absence of being able to give a 5-star rating to Dan directly to Honda HQ. Call Dan. More

He was patient with us while we were in between cars and sat with us for hours until we were comfortable with the ideas. His customer service was amazing, as he would show us car after car until we could finally decide on a car. I quickly learned after waiting for over 2 hours for Marian in finance that they were training to add a bunch of hidden fees, first some insurance products, extended warranties, and LoJack anti-theft systems. When Marian realized that I wasn't falling for these traps he said think it over so I can work with another customer. I looked and see here on this website that others have had similar problems. I would stay away from this dealership. More

I originally took it to O'Hare Honda, now AutoNation; worst experience ever; so bad, that it took me over a year to try again. I decided to try Castle Honda. The experience with my Castle Service Advisor, Rob Kolodny, was beyond my expectations and so pleasant, that I decided to take my car back a couple of months later to see if the service was consistent; I wanted to make sure the car was winter ready. I just had my car serviced for the 3rd time at Castle; needed an oil change. Each experience has been as wonderful as the last, and now Castle Honda is my new service center primarily because of my Service Advisor, Rob Kolodny. When I make my online appointments, I always choose Rob. The rest of the guys are probably equally excellent, but I'm not adventurous. More
