My problem was a noise in the rear end and I assumed it would take a few days but Technician Douglas Campbell finished the work that very same day including finding a shifter cable recall and an oil change. The car was brought out with a fresh wash and a completely clean interior. I am more than pleased with the experience with Napleton Ford in Libertyville. More
Buyers remorse therepy! Another deal at another dealership just fell through and it was getting late in the day as we drove around in an old car far from home. We sat down and found a beautiful Ford Expedition but were unable to pull up specifics on Google due to poor connectivity. So we called and talked to Mary. I asked if it was a "Limited" edition. She assured me it was. I got there and they tried to sell me a new Limited instead of the car we had asked for. Once that was straightened out, my wife and I were in a hurry to get them home because it was after closing. I was focused on the issue that killed the last deal rather than asking if it was a limited or not. In the haste we discovered it about 5 minutes after our car was seen driving to the back, that part was mostly my fault. However during the negotiations I was not allowed to see the ungodly interest rate until we went back to the financial guy. I also told them that I wished to put down, with the trade in, no more than $4000. In order to get the payments to about $350 we were both giving a little. He finally came back with the payment I wanted but failed to mention he kicked in another $1000 for me. I very well may have anyway but did not give me that option. So I have severe buyers remorse over, 1 Mary not listening to what I asked, 2, Sales men not informing me of the interest rate until after deal was made, and yes you did know. 3 Kicking in an extra $1000 out of my pocket for me, awfully nice of you. 4. We also noticed on the way home there were 2 chips out of the windshield that there 1 million point supper duper inspection missed or ignored. Some of this is our fault for last minute rush and I accept responsibility for it. The other part is why I hate dealerships. I have rarely walked out of one feeling like I got a fair deal. I am resolved in the fact that we got screwed. I will say that the Ford Expedition we bought is a great car and I still love ford. We will likely be trading in a couple of years I can assure you it won't be here. Likely another dealership, that of course will probably have similar experience. More
Who’s covering the warranty when the warranty isnt So you have a 2 year old suv that you bring in with a module code that gets an update that may or may not fix the issue, not one but three x’s in 2 yr So you have a 2 year old suv that you bring in with a module code that gets an update that may or may not fix the issue, not one but three x’s in 2 yrs., then you get told it’s now aged out and isn’t covered even though it may or MA Y NOT have been fixed prior to the end of the warranty but it’s now aged out and isn’t covered understand? So kinda feel like it’s the old game of see if you can find the pea under the three thimbles at the Vaudville tent! Shheeezz More
Worst salesman in the Ford industry I visited and the salesman just pre judged us checked credit for my son. We had a cosigner. This salesman said he doesn't care his credit score was ze I visited and the salesman just pre judged us checked credit for my son. We had a cosigner. This salesman said he doesn't care his credit score was zero he actually raised his voice. We went to another Ford in Gurnee I'm not allowed to name them. My son left with a new Ford fusion and we could have left with another car for my other son. Called napelton Ford and the sales manager could care less about what are experience was there. So I say go to a different Ford there polite, and do anything and everything to help you. More

As long as i am alive my automobile purchase will always be with NAPLETON, The Respect they show and give the customer is unmatched anywhere. My last purchase took 15 minutes but do to a power it could not print the contract so they said take the car come back tomorrow and we can sign the papers then , i said i had nothing better to do so I waited for the power to come back on and we finished the purchase. They also gave me 2 free oil changes for waiting. Great people who really care about the customer. More
