Having just got my first real job out of college, I was looking for a new car that was both reliable but within budget. I was nervous about buying my first new car, but went to this dealer after a recommen looking for a new car that was both reliable but within budget. I was nervous about buying my first new car, but went to this dealer after a recommendation. After test-driving a Ford Fiesta, I decided this was the car for me. Tim was very helpful in my decision and helped me get a great price and financing on my new car. The whole time i felt very comfortable, despite my initial nervousness. Tim also help me set up the sync feature in my car, and made sure I knew how to use it before I left. Overall, my experience was painless. I'm happy with my new car. More
We walked in to buy a third car for our household. We wanted to stay under $25,000, we wanted a new car with good gas mileage and we were not disappointed. We didn't have a flock of dealers run to us, we had one nice man, Chris Acker, come out as we looked at the cars. He asked if he could help and then showed us things on the lot. When we explained that we wanted basic features and stated that the one feature we wanted for certain was heated seats, he immediately talked about how heated seats could be added if we didn't find one that had them already on the lot. Then he took us to a car inside that had fewer features than the two on the lot and was cheaper than the two on the lot. It was perfect for us and fit our pricing requirements. We went for a test drive right away and we knew it was exactly what we wanted. When it came to working out financing, we told them the rate we got from our credit union and they beat it. They also threw in the heated seats for less than half the actual cost to install. The finance person was courteous and explained everything. Even though we were signing documents to make payments on a car loan, we felt comfortable and at ease because they were so nice. No one gave us a hard sell for things we may not want or need, and we left feeling like we had gotten a great deal from people who cared about us as customers, not numbers. It was the most pleasant car-buying experience we ever had! Bottom line, everyone was friendly, we weren't swarmed or pushed into anything we didn't want, we did the whole thing in about an hour and a half from start to finish, and we left feeling happy with our purchase. Will we go back there for our next car? ABSOLUTELY! More
We were in the market for a used low mileage ford explorer preferably 2010. We went to Napelton because we saw one on their website. When we got there the car was sold but the sales person who helped us was awesome. He helped us find an even better car with lower mileage and still stayed in our budget. I would recommend Tim Barcal to anyone. He went out of his way to help us find the car I wanted and really worked with us to keep the payments where we were comfortable. Everyone who helped us from the manager to the finance department to the auto body were extremely helpful and I would only use Tim Barcal and Napelton for any future car buying. More

I was initially looking at buying a 2012 Focus, but wasn't sure about the size. In the end I bought a Fusion SEL for about the same price as the attractive Focus Titanium. I am very pleased with the Fusion as it has more room for the important things I need to have with me (my golf clubs). I explained my concerns and needs to the salesman and within a couple of hours I was out of my truck and into and 2011 Ford Fusion. I've been to two other dealerships prior to coming to Napelton Ford and those two dealerships made me walk out of their stores very angry. Napelton Ford listened to my problems and then came up with the best solution they could for me. Now I'm saving up to $500 in gas a month just from geting out of my truck and into a car with much better gas milage. Napelton took the time to listen to my problems and then came up with a solution, that's why I would recommend Napelton to anyone that is looking to get into a new car even if your credit is not the greatest, Napelton will work hard to make sure you get what you need and can afford. I am a happy and loyal Ford owner thanks to Mark Hampton and the rest of the service team at Napleton Ford. My current car, a 2003 Ford Escape, has 252,000 miles, still runs great and gets outstanding gas m and the rest of the service team at Napleton Ford. I have been in for service a number of times over the years, and Mark has always taken great care of me. Hats off to all the technicians that have worked on the car over the years also, since I know it is their hard work that keeps it running so well. Mark has always communicated in an accurate and timely fashion with me on my service appointments. Eric Radtke has taken care of things for me also, and I feel just as comfortable with him. Gene Holst, the Service Manager, is always there and always talks with me. In short, my strong positive feelings about Napleton Ford in Libertyville are almost entirely due to the oustanding service team. Thanks for taking such great care of me over the years. More
After a lengthy search on the Internet for a vehicle, I had narrowed my choices down to 3 cars in the area, including a 2007 Ford Edge at Napleton. The Edge was a little pricier than what I was hoping to spend, but was the nicest of the vehicles we looked at. I test drove the Edge and decided to see if Napleton could come down into my range. I was doubtful, especially after two rounds of offers that were too high. I was ready to walk away rather than go over my comfortable payment, but Chris and the staff were eager to make the sale and did make it happen. I'm very happy with the car and feel that I got a good deal on it. Chris, Vincent, and the team stayed well past 9:30 p.m. to finish the deal so I could drive home in my new truck last night. I appreciate that extra effort. Chris is very personable, friendly, and genuine; one of the least offensive car salespeople I've ever encountered. He obviously wanted to make the sale, but also didn't pressure me into taking on more payment than I was comfortable accepting. I would give him my business again in the future. More
