Dealing with this dealership a few years ago, trading in a GM car in for a newer Ford one. Dont want to be more specific about vehicles as I dont want them to figure out who I am, as I still live in this to a GM car in for a newer Ford one. Dan Fox, the owner, came to me with an offer for the whole deal (trade and purchase of newer car). He had the numbers scribbled on a piece of paper. I told him it was a little weak. He said there was nowhere for them to go as that was the best deal. I left. The next morning I get a call from the salesperson. She told me that Dan said he can go up $500 on the trade. That was where I wanted to be. I drove there minutes later after cleaning out my car and finding the title. When we sat down for the paperwork, the deal did not show a net descrease of $500 for the increase in the trade. When I questioned it, Fox denied giving me the number the day before that he did. I asked him where the paper was from the day before he had the numbers written on, so I could prove it to him. He surprisingly couldn't find it. No deal here. More
