Called and scheduled a test drive with Anthony. The guy seemed nice enough and I was hoping no one would buy the car before Monday. My wife and I had someone pick our son up from daycare so that we could h seemed nice enough and I was hoping no one would buy the car before Monday. My wife and I had someone pick our son up from daycare so that we could head straight to the dealership. Our test drive was scheduled for 6 and we got their a few minutes early. We walked in and told the first person we saw that we were there to see Anthony. He just stepped out he will be back the guy replied. Fair enough we are a few minutes early. We browse around the show room getting smiles from the sales guys. At 6:20 we tell the receptionist to get us someone else, because no one knows where Anthony is. The receptionist tracks down Bob. We tell Bob that we were scheduled to test drive the Lexus RX330. Bob goes to grab the keys. It is now around 6:30. He comes back 5 minutes later and says..uh umm the Lexus is at the shop for repairs. Really? At the shop for repairs? Couldn't you have said it is out being inspected? Something other than out for repairs. But wait it gets better. Bob apologizes, but states that although the 2005 Lexus we want is not there, he has a 2006. Would you guys be interested in looking at that? Of course we replied. Why don't we meet you on the lot. (It took Bob sometime to find the key for the last vehicle) We go to the lot and walk the entire lot looking for this 2006 Lexus. About 10 minutes later Big Bob shows up with a key (yay), but he begins to explain that the 2006 was a key for a vehicle that has already sold. Bob starts in again with his apologies. I stop him and tell him and tell him this is a waste of our time and we have paid a baby sitter. He tells me he understands and that he is sorry. I tell him to tell Anthony to lose our number and don't bother to call. Bob gave me his card and I took it. I am pretty sure it is in the trash. Never do business with these people. They are horrible. More

I'm so happy that I've found this site because I had the exact problem a week ago. Carmella at driverloans.com told me that I was definitely approved and that it wasn't a pre-approval, it was guaranteed. <b exact problem a week ago. Carmella at driverloans.com told me that I was definitely approved and that it wasn't a pre-approval, it was guaranteed.

She actually quoted me a $28,000.00 approval. I called more than once to verify that this was an actual approval without a cosigner, which is how I filled out my online application and she explained that it was definitely; I would drive home that evening.

I explained to her that I didn't have any transportation or anyone to bring me so I would have to take public transportation from the far South Suburbs to 27th and Michigan so I really need to know if I would be approved or not and she said that the approval was final and they needed me to come down to find a vehicle that would fit this approval price. I took my wife and two kids because everyone was excited that we were approved for a vehicle (yeah right) little did we know.

I was supposed to see Mike Salami; they somehow redirected me to a guy named Wally who could have cared less about my situation. He provided me with two options one being to have a cosigner which I told them before hand that I didn't have and was reassured that I didn't need one and two was to have $4500 down, which I didn't have also but they reassured me that this loan didn't require any money down.

After I told Wally that neither one of his options would work for me he got up from the table and walked away leaving me baffled, no explanations what so ever. When I expressed disappointment to the me at the finance desk they suggested that I have someone else on the loan with me, completely out of our agreement, they also informed me that the cosigner was to strengthen the income that credit didn't matter with their lenders because they looked primarily at income and since my income was good but I hadn't been on my job that long I needed to add someone who would only be on the loan for 12 payments and then they would automatically be dropped from the contract.

They promised that a deal would get done, I told them that I could call my Dad but his credit was shaky and Elliot, the Sales Manager told me that it didn't matter. I called my Dad, he gave them his information with the impression that they would be able to put him in a vehicle as well, also, they said since my wife was there that it would hurt to run her and put her on the deal which I explained that her credit was bad but once again it didn't matter.

Elliot gave me the craziest explanation as to why three people would have to go on one car deal, he stated that banks look it more in favor of income that credit when you have more people involved.
More
we were told on the phone we were definately approved for a loan(we applied at driverloans.com) (a scam) I told Nick we are traveling far by public trans. lugging a car seat and our 3 yr. old son so if there a loan(we applied at driverloans.com) (a scam) I told Nick we are traveling far by public trans. lugging a car seat and our 3 yr. old son so if there is a chance for any problems we have to know now. Told him we have no co-signer and he said no problem, you have already been approved, you will definately drive a car home! When we got there we were helped by some other guy who told us they could not get us approved. We told him what nick said on the phone and he left his desk to come back later and say that nick was being fired and his supervisor tony would be in in half an hour to help us. Told us to go to waiting lounge and we would be notified when tony S. got there. We waited almost 2 hours with our 3 yr old when my husband finally went to ask how much longer and the guy who told us to wait said he would see if tony is there yet. He then waited till he thought we wearnt looking and sat at TONY'S desk to mumble about us. Tony then called another couple over to help them instead! We then saw and heard him call Nick over, the guy who got fired(ha-ha), to help him. My husband said "look, thats Nick" and asked if he spoke to his wife on phone and Nick tried to act dumb(not a difficult task) and said "no, which nick are you looking for?" We knew it was the same nick who told me on the phone "congratulations, you're approved!" All of the people we were told were "not in yet" were there the whole time! They totally ignored us and left us in the waiting area on purpose hoping we would eventually leave which we did, only to have to take another 3 busses and a train, taking 2 1/2 hours to get back home. We had other very important things to do that day, my husbands only day off, and blew them off because Nick told us we were approved no matter what and would DEFINATELY drive a car home that day 3/31/04. We have NEVER been LIED to so boldly and treated so badly at any place we have been!!!! This is the WORST car dealership we have ever been to!!! They made fools out of us and laughed at us when we turned our backs. Driverloans.com and Rogers Auto Group are a major SCAM!!! DO NOT GO-YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! More
