This dealership is an absolute pleasure to do business with. Friendly, honest and competent. From the owner John Scher, to the sales manager Brian to my salesman Anthony Parrilli the process was flawl with. Friendly, honest and competent. From the owner John Scher, to the sales manager Brian to my salesman Anthony Parrilli the process was flawless. The service department is stellar also...had a minor tire issue and the fixed it in minutes with a smile! I have worked for car dealerships and dealt with a myriad of others. The Rogers Group by far exceeds any I have encountered. They employee quality people which makes buying a new vehicle a positive experience! I recommend this dealership highly! More
Beware! This review is for the sales department. Shorter version: They have poor customer service and are dishonest. We were misled multiple times and no one cared to communicate with us in a timely manner version: They have poor customer service and are dishonest. We were misled multiple times and no one cared to communicate with us in a timely manner regarding not being able to find the car we wanted. If you are promised a new Hyundai Elantra here in 1-2 days, don't believe it!! We were jerked around and given different accounts from different staff there; they couldn't keep their information consistent! We shook hands on a deal with Kevin Benavides, put down a deposit to find our car, and we never got a car from Rogers. We will take our business elsewhere to a place which deserves our business - one which is run honestly and cares about its customers. If you can't count on someone's word and a handshake, what can you count on?! Longer version: We went for a test drive and were told by Kevin Benavides that it should be no problem getting us the Elantra we wanted within 1-2 days. We began comparing prices at other dealerships and found Rogers to have the lowest price on the car. We returned and spent about 90 minutes there discussing pricing but still were weighing other options. We then received a voicemail from Kevin (still have it saved) a few days later stating he tracked down 4 cars like the one we wanted. So, about 2 days later, I went to Rogers and talked in person again with Kevin. We shook hands regarding a final price, I put down a deposit, and Kevin stated we'd have our car in 2-3 days. Three days later, I was worried that I wouldn't be driving my new car home that day, as I had been planning, since we've heard nothing from Rogers at this point since the handshake. We had made plans to switch car insurance, info at our parking garage, and info for my workplace's parking lot based on having the new car that day. I then called Rogers that afternoon and got Kevin's voicemail. I then called Kevin's cell phone; Kevin states it's his day off, so there's nothing he can really do about the car then, and I should call the manager at Rogers. Wow, you care so much to ensure we get our car that you don't update us before you take your day off that our car is not in? Glad you were able to have fun on your day off and not have a care in the world, unlike us. We would've been understanding if he kept us in the loop if there were delays in getting our car, or if he admitted he made a promise he couldn't keep, but ignoring/forgetting about us and not being truthful/realistic is unacceptable. I then called manager Derrick the day we were to get the car, and Derrick states it is "impossible" to get the car we want, and we can call to get our deposit back the next day. He didn't even try to offer any solutions to the problem (ie offering the same car in a different color at the same price), so it felt like Rogers just didn't care to keep our business because we were actually trying to get a good deal for ourselves. I called the next day, asked for Derrick, and was told it is his day off! I'm curious why we weren't offered to get the deposit back via the phone the night before.. They continued to jerk us around! I then called and talked to Kevin and another manager, Brian. Brian asks us to wait 24 more hours, and though they can't promise anything, he would try to find us our car and may have found one in Kansas City. We're told they could "go over Derrick's head." Nice, they throw each other under the bus. We're told we would be called either way by 3pm the next day. We're told they are even having a "meeting" about our situation at the dealership. 3pm the next day rolls around, no phone call at all that day from Rogers. It was probably Brian's day off! Funny enough, Brian called the NEXT day (24 hours after the deadline he set) and reports Hyundai just doesn't frequently make the Elantra with our preferences (he just figured that out now, almost 2 weeks after our initial visit?!), but to compensate us, he would offer us the upgraded preferred package at "LITTLE to no extra cost," but it would still take a few more days for that car to come in. Note he didn't say "no extra cost." Do you smell a bait and switch here, too? He probably didn't know (since they don't seem to communicate well) that I had already had gotten the deposit back that morning, and we would never consider trusting him or anyone there. More

I recommend Rogers Auto Group as a great place to do business. I felt no pressure from my salesman Anthony Parilli. I was an indecisive buyer and he was patient with me and wanted me to feel secure in my purchase. He was attentive and worked hard to get me a great deal. In the end I got exactly what I wanted and I am extremely happy with my new Chevy Cruz. Anthony even took the time after his long day to be sure I knew how to work the on board instruments, radio and OnStar. I would feel comfortable referring anyone to go to Rogers Auto Group for a vehicle purchase. Thanks Anthony for all of your hard work ! More
Rogers Auto Group, I want to again commend your entire Rogers Auto Group, I want to again commend your entire Dealership Organization for the honest upfront approach to Parts Sales and Service. This Dea Rogers Auto Group, I want to again commend your entire Dealership Organization for the honest upfront approach to Parts Sales and Service. This Dealership continues to be one of the most pleasant Dealerships I have ever dealt with! Brian Jones was very pleasant to deal with while I was picking up my new GMC Sierra 1500 SLE 4X4 Z-71 after your team had the bed liner sprayed in and bed finder wells installed at a nominal fee! I stopped by the Parts counter to purchase a few accessories for my truck, again without being overcharged and paid less than online prices. I will continue to recommend your Dealership to everyone I know and I cannot thank you enough for taking the steps to do old fashion good as a hand shake business! Sincerely, John Powers More
December 23, 2010 I went into Roger's Auto Group located at 2720 S. Michigan in Chicago because I had a flat tire. Two hours later I received a call from the services center informing me that my back right at 2720 S. Michigan in Chicago because I had a flat tire. Two hours later I received a call from the services center informing me that my back right rim was bent and it would cost me $467.24. $387.29 for the rim and $79.95 for the labor. When I arrive at the service center I was informed that it would be 4 to 5 days to get the rim back, therefore I need to pay right away in order to get the rim back as soon as possible. So I went back to Rogers got my old rim back, and then took my car to Castle Buick in North Riverside, and I spoke with a Louis Mathews (salesman)and he stated they will take a look at the rim and he wiil contact me when they find the problem. Come to find out my rim was not bent, my tire was sealed and I have been driving with no problem since that day. I live within walking distance from Rogers Auto Group and at this point I will not even let them change the oil in my car. I plan to inform all my family, friends and even enemies that if you go to Rogers Auto Group be prepared to get jipped. More

Called and scheduled a test drive with Anthony. The guy seemed nice enough and I was hoping no one would buy the car before Monday. My wife and I had someone pick our son up from daycare so that we could h seemed nice enough and I was hoping no one would buy the car before Monday. My wife and I had someone pick our son up from daycare so that we could head straight to the dealership. Our test drive was scheduled for 6 and we got their a few minutes early. We walked in and told the first person we saw that we were there to see Anthony. He just stepped out he will be back the guy replied. Fair enough we are a few minutes early. We browse around the show room getting smiles from the sales guys. At 6:20 we tell the receptionist to get us someone else, because no one knows where Anthony is. The receptionist tracks down Bob. We tell Bob that we were scheduled to test drive the Lexus RX330. Bob goes to grab the keys. It is now around 6:30. He comes back 5 minutes later and says..uh umm the Lexus is at the shop for repairs. Really? At the shop for repairs? Couldn't you have said it is out being inspected? Something other than out for repairs. But wait it gets better. Bob apologizes, but states that although the 2005 Lexus we want is not there, he has a 2006. Would you guys be interested in looking at that? Of course we replied. Why don't we meet you on the lot. (It took Bob sometime to find the key for the last vehicle) We go to the lot and walk the entire lot looking for this 2006 Lexus. About 10 minutes later Big Bob shows up with a key (yay), but he begins to explain that the 2006 was a key for a vehicle that has already sold. Bob starts in again with his apologies. I stop him and tell him and tell him this is a waste of our time and we have paid a baby sitter. He tells me he understands and that he is sorry. I tell him to tell Anthony to lose our number and don't bother to call. Bob gave me his card and I took it. I am pretty sure it is in the trash. Never do business with these people. They are horrible. More

I'm so happy that I've found this site because I had the exact problem a week ago. Carmella at driverloans.com told me that I was definitely approved and that it wasn't a pre-approval, it was guaranteed. <b exact problem a week ago.
