I came across a very cute Hyundai Tucson and a Buick Encore that happened to be at the same dealership. I was extremely lucky that it turned out to be this one! Now my previous car had been purchased from family so I was very nervous to deal with the stigma of the dreaded "car salesmen" for the first time. I had every stereotype in my head on what I would have to combat walking onto that car lot, man did they prove me wrong, August was kind and knowledgeable through my entire time there. Not only did he never once pressure me or try to push any other car types onto me, he was funny and very personable which made it the perfect experience for me. After deciding on my amazing Buick, I went to work with Rachel on financing. She answered every stupid question I could think of, this being my first financing experience as well, I sure had a lot of them. Rachel took the time to explain every part of my contract as well as work with me on payments where I felt comfortable. Overall I could not have asked for a better team to work with, or a better new car!! More

Matthew Rau, my sales consultant, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I especially appreciated the time he took familiarizing me with all the "bells and whistles" of my car, which was no small thing since I'm known as Wilma Flintstone in the tech world! Lastly, I actually dreaded finishing the deal with the Finance Manager because of my previous experience with another Libertyville dealer, which shall remain nameless. Let's just say I was so brow-beaten I told my husband I wouldn't go back there if they GAVE me a car. Rachel Borizani was a pleasure to deal with. I can't imagine a process more smooth, efficient and stress-free. I didn't have a lot of interaction with Steve Czerniejewski, but he also was very informative and helpful. Never felt the pressure I got when I walked in the door of all the other dealers I stopped at. More
Outstanding customer from the beginning to the end I found a Nissan Pathfinder online and inquired about it. Within a short period of time, Isaac, the Internet guy, called me back. I scheduled to co I found a Nissan Pathfinder online and inquired about it. Within a short period of time, Isaac, the Internet guy, called me back. I scheduled to come in to look for it. I received a complimentary call the day of my appointment confirming my appointment. I got there met with the salesman, we test drove the car, he was personable and was telling me about the area during the test drive. I bought the truck! Mike, the manager stayed and made sure I got a second key to the car, since there was only one to the truck. My friend that took me out there, battery died and someone from service was still there and he, my salesman and Mike all made sure the car started. Mike even called the next day asking if my friend made it home. Again everyone I encountered at this dealership had exceptional customer service. If I am ever in the market for a Cadillac I would definitely take that hour plus drive there. Great job, Markella More

We Absolutely terrible. We had a Florida vacation coming up so two weeks prior to leaving we took our Cadillac Escalade in for some routine repairs. We had also noticed the a/c would not always blow cold, and at times would blow hot, damp air. Two weeks prior to vacation we dropped the vehicle off for service, including checking on the a/c problem. $3500 in repairs were made (tune up, suspension compressor, wheel bearing). A week later we were driving to Milwaukee in 90 degree heat when we noticed the a/c started blowing hot, damp air again. We looked over the repair order and noticed no mention of them checking on the a/c. We called Libertyville Cadillac and were told by Keith in the Service Department that the notes were in the computer to check the a/c, and a general checklist was filled out by the mechanic stating the a/c was ok. We made another appointment that day (Friday) to get the vehicle in Monday morning at 7am as we were leaving for Florida on Tuesday evening. We dropped our vehicle off at 7am Monday. We hadn't heard from the service department by 2pm so I called to get a status check. Keith apologized but stated they hadn't even pulled our vehicle into the shop yet. I angrily reminded Keith we were leaving for Florida in 24 hours and we needed the vehicle fixed. This was the entire point of making an appointment at 7am. Keith apologized and stated they would get my vehicle in right away. Keith called me back 30 minutes later and stated "we found the problem". Keith stated we had a leaking condenser and the orifice tube needed to be replaced. I said we needed it fixed before our trip so go ahead and fix it. We picked it up the next day at 245pm, paid over $1100 in a/c repairs and were on the road to Florida by 7pm. We noticed early morning when the sun started to rise in Atlanta that the a/c started to blow hot, damp air again!!. It was 99 degrees that day driving from Atlanta to Orlando in oppressive heat inside a vehicle that only blows hot, damp air. Needless to say we were pissed!!!. My wife and I spoke with Dan Regan several times by phone, at which point he stated to take the vehicle to a dealership in Orlando. He stated if their repairs or parts were bad it would be under warranty. And if the dealership found a different problem than Dan stated his dealership "would make it right". We dropped the Escalade off with Massey Cadillac of South Orlando. They had the vehicle for two days. Their mechanic replicated the problem we were describing, and he believed the problem was a bad a/c compressor. Over $1500 later in repairs we had our Escalade back. We drove the vehicle around for two days in Orlando and 20 hours back home and it blew cold air the entire time. Common sense lead us to believe the problem was the compressor the entire time and not the condenser and orifice tube like Libertyville Cadillac had suggested. Upon returning home I again called Dan with our concerns the repairs they made were a waste of time and money, not to mention the hassle of bringing it in for repairs multiple times. Dan stated he would have his general manager of the service department, Scott Inman, call me back the next day. The conversation with Dan was on Wednesday. Scott finally calls me back the following Monday. Scott stated he believed his mechanic diagnosed the problem correctly (despite the vehicle was not fixed after his initial repairs). Scott went on to say the a/c system could have been leaking elsewhere too (despite Orlando Cadillac stating the coolant was full upon initial check). Scott couldn't understand why I was upset with his departments' service. He didn't even care to address the fact the problem was not checked the first time it was brought in. Scott was terrible to deal with on the phone. He stated he had been working in this industry since 1976. I'm sorry but if you treat customers this way and do business this way I don't know how he lasted past 1980. Scott eventually offered me a $300 credit towards future service department repairs with his dealership. I wouldn't touch this dealership ever again with a 10 foot pole. Scott can keep that $300 credit and jam it where the sun don't shine. I would never touch step in this business ever again, and I would caution anyone else thinking about using their service department in the future. More

The used SRXs at the 3 dealers were dirty, scratched, one had a dead battery, another reeked inside. At Napleton, the used cars were pristine. The SRX I bought with 21K miles on it looked and drove like new. In fact, all of the used vehicles on the lot looked great. I bought the SRX on the spot. This is the first time in 40 years of car buying I didn't mind paying the dealer prep charge, because Napleton had obviously taken great care reconditioning and detailing the vehicle. The $885 dealer prep was well worth it. See Mike Palermo there; he's low pressure and really knows his vehicles. A true professional. More
