Untrustworthy, Rude and Demeaning My husband and I had the most awful experience at Napleton Cadillac and could not allow someone else to be treated the same way we were. I found a par My husband and I had the most awful experience at Napleton Cadillac and could not allow someone else to be treated the same way we were. I found a particular car that I wanted and it happened to be at their lot. (GMC Yukon Denali). We contacted them on Monday and had several email and phone conversations about the car. We were guaranteed that the car was in "perfect" condition with 19k miles on it. We asked for complete honesty with any blemishes or defects and were told it was "as close to perfect as perfect gets". We agreed to pay $1000 down and hold the car until Saturday morning after we agreed on a price. We made it very clear that we were driving 5.5 hours in a rental car, and returning home with this one. When we arrived, we were greeted by a man that passed us off to another and led us to the back room where the car was being kept for the past 6 days. We looked over the car and asked it to be moved to the sunlight so we could bring the scratches and paint issues to the salesman's attention. It is FAR from perfect. The car was covered in white from a horrible detail job. There are several scratches, a few dings and a huge paint issue on the back panel door. When we brought these up to the salesman he stated that it was just "filler" and that whatever happened was fixed. We called our personal friend who owns a body shop and facetimed the issue with him. Being a black car, it would be at least $2000 to get this fixed correctly since the entire door would have to be painted. As I stood inside and my husband outside after the test drive, I was completely humiliated. The salesman told me that I clearly know nothing about cars because I was getting a deal and should be thankful for the price, that most people who walk into this Cadillac dealership don't have anything less than a 750 and do I even qualify, that the god awful detail job is all they could do with such short notice (remember the 6 days??), questioning if I am used to a car of this caliber where I live, and does my body guy know anything about cars like this? Really? He had no idea that I grew up around classic cars my entire life and knew more than he does! It took everything that I had to hold my tongue. He failed to remember that I was paying CASH for this car and had the cashier's check in hand. When I ever so politely reminded him of this he stated that the finance guys don't tell the salesman anything in case they can get a better deal. Did he really just tell me that?!? My husband came back in about 15 minutes later after going over the vehicle in detail and then stated we would not leave without $2300 taken off of the agreed on price. The salesman then chuckled, left, came back about 5 minutes later and stated there was no negotiation. We then very politely said we will not take the car. He left, brought back our credit card reimbursement for signing and that was it. We were there for over an hour. Not one single person thought we were worth their time to ask us if there was another vehicle that we would like. Not one single person asked if there was anything else they could do to get me in another vehicle. I brought a cashier's check made payable to YOUR dealership. Clearly it was more important to sit with their legs crossed at their desks playing on their cell phones. Yes, I walked around and made eye contact with most of them. It was not worth wasting their breath to acknowledge me. Not one other single customer was in that lot. Clearly Napleton Cadillac is not in the business of good customer service. We drove to Enterprise across the street and advised them that we would have to drive the rental car back and told him how upset we were. He advised us of a GMC dealership just 20 minutes north. With that referral we drove another few miles and ended up at Anthony GMC/Buick in Gurnee, IL. There we were greeted with the best salesman and staff. They were so nice to us and didn't know that I had a cashier's check written to Napleton Cadillac in my car. They were amazing salesman and treated us like the hard working adults we are. To end my afternoon, I didn't end up with my 2014 Black Denali from Napleton and I was very upset with both the disappointment of losing my car and the way I was treated there...BUT the satisfaction of driving home my 2017 Yukon Denali purchased from Anthony GMC/Buick was so worth it!!! Yes, Napleton, we do qualify to purchase at your Cadillac dealership. I drove home in my truck with your Napleton Cadillac check in my glove box. More

Norsehuler is another Cadillac Dealer ( They wrote a bad comment just below mine ) who I did not buy from because there cars were terrible! and I told them so. When they found out I bought at Weil Cadillac they wrote a bad review about Weil Cadillac, Really guy's. I guess it's so easy to write a bad review about a company, but I am proof this Dealership is honest and a pleasure to due business with. More
Bought a used escalade which didn't even make it home from dealership before xx engine light came on. Result is a $800 transfer case. Dealership said they wouldn't do anything. Also the cars features adv from dealership before xx engine light came on. Result is a $800 transfer case. Dealership said they wouldn't do anything. Also the cars features advertised on their website did't all work. If you say the car has cruise control, the cruise should work. Very bad way for a,Cadillac dealer to treat someone buying another Cadillac, even if it is used. Stay away for your own good. More
I bought a used Audi. I paid a lot for it and expected it to be in good or standard shape. Within my first fill up (2nd day) all the sensors came on. Check engine, gas meter didn't work, fuel lights on, it to be in good or standard shape. Within my first fill up (2nd day) all the sensors came on. Check engine, gas meter didn't work, fuel lights on, etc. I only drove it 1/4 tank, that's what was in it. When I called them to tell them about the problem, they said its too bad. You bought it AS IS. If you want to get ripped off go to this dealership. More

This dealership definitely leaves some things to be desired in the Customer Service department. I paid for service that was not provided and when I questioned the issue, I was met with disrespect and desired in the Customer Service department. I paid for service that was not provided and when I questioned the issue, I was met with disrespect and sexist rants. I can't remember the last time I was called "sweetie" or " honey" in a place of business. Their path to resolution was for me to find another shop to fix the problem that I paid them To address. If you're looking for honorable service and professionalism, this is not the place! More
