Relatively Painless. I called Isaac about a Cadillac XTS that I found on their web site. Easy to deal with, not the usual hand wringing or "are you ready to buy today strategy". Got the deal done in short order, got our stuff changed over and then Rachel got the paperwork done and done. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and ended up finding an XT5 for us in the exact color and trim level that my wife wanted. She was very patient explaining the various packages to us and was a pleasure to work with both on the initial test drive, follow-up drive and eventual purchase five days later. The entire staff we interacted with was more than friendly, especially when it came time to appraise our trade-in and make an overall competitive offer that we couldn't refuse. My wife couldn't be any happier with her beautiful new Cadillac. More
Looking for a xt5 that did not have black interior Arrived at the Dealership to see a used xt5. When i came in and was met by Dan Praljak and was informed that vehicle was sold. I explained i wanted a Arrived at the Dealership to see a used xt5. When i came in and was met by Dan Praljak and was informed that vehicle was sold. I explained i wanted a awd Xt5 that did not have black interior.The only vehicle they had was a service loaner,whitch had everything i wanted including the right color interior.Idrove the vehicle and loved it.We sat down to get figures with my trade in but the numbers were to far apart.I then left and kept in touch with Dan Praljak and when I called Dan to bring my wife in to drive the vehicle DAN gave me a number to buy it now which was in my budget. My wife and i came in ,she drove the Xt5 and the next thing we knew,we were owners.Dan was a pleasure to work with😀 The only complaint i have was the one and a half hour wait for paper work for a cash deal More

Bad buying experience I recently attempted to buy the used 2016 Cadillac ELR at Napleton, working with Tom Knollenberg. We exchanged communication on the car including a bi I recently attempted to buy the used 2016 Cadillac ELR at Napleton, working with Tom Knollenberg. We exchanged communication on the car including a bill of sale to reserve the car while I was traveling on business. It took me a day to be able to send the BOS and I received a text the car had been sold. When I asked why Tom didn't call, knowing I wanted the car, he simply said "we had multiple interest in the car". I suggested that a 5-minute phone call might have netted a higher price. A short phone call would have been a basic courtesy. As it is, this is an example and reinforcement of why the industry is so detested. I won't do business with a company like this but will tell others to avoid Napleton in the future. Very disappointing. More
Horrible experience both times. February of 2017 I traded my 2016 mustang Ecoboost convertible with only 14,000 miles (still under factory warranty) for a 2014 Cadillac xts with 4900 February of 2017 I traded my 2016 mustang Ecoboost convertible with only 14,000 miles (still under factory warranty) for a 2014 Cadillac xts with 49000 miles, I needed something bigger so I decided to do a trade plus me giving $1500 cash since I owned my mustang with no bank lien..I also paid an additional $800 for them to replace the tires on the Cadillac since they looked worn. 3 mos later the touchscreen overheated and cracked rendering the controls useless, I researched and found xts and ats are commonly known to do this so I call Cadillac who tells me my car is 1000 miles out of warranty they won't do anything...I call the dealership I purchased it from and the used manager tells me to keep calling Cadillac they'll eventually do something..Well they wouldn't and I called napleton numerous times to see if they would help me out to no avail. I was stuck paying $2200 to replace the touchscreen. I also found out the tires they put on my car were very CHEAP tires and after researching I found out they overcharged me $300! The used manager tells me I was getting them at cost!! HA!! Well Recently I seen they had a used xxx I just needed for winter driv so I stopped to look at it and they all come out like vultures and I had asked how much the salesman goes in then comes out and says a code word for the price to the manager..(shady) then they tell me and I negotiated a price and thought it was a decent deal until I looked it up...2010 xxx with 117,000 miles retail value is $8800 they thought they could get $11,500 I walked. Since then they call me nonstop and even went as far as txting me at 8pm!! I told the used manager I wasn't interested and they still will not stop leaving me voicemails and calling me nearly every day! It's turned into harassment!! I normally wouldn't post negative reviews but since my experience with them was a very negative one and they won't stop calling me I figured I would. More

I was assured that they would do everything possible to meet my needs and wants in a vehicle and they made it happen! Their excellent customer consideration extended beyond me to my father who assisted me in getting to the dealership. This team waited beyond their closing hours for me to travel to them and made themselves available according to my schedule. They were open and candid and connected with me in a manner that diminished my anxieties about the car buying experience. I am very pleased with my purchase and even more pleased with the follow up from August Blancas since my purchase to ensure that I have no issues and am still satisfied with my purchase. I've already told others that when they are ready to purchase a quality new/used vehicle, then they must make the trip to Napleton Cadillac of Libertyville, IL. Family looks out for family!! More

I had located several Chevy Silverados in the Chicago area... Yes I spent most of the day checking them out. The truck at Napleton was the first one I test drove... August Blanc was the salesman... After the test drive August asked me if we were ready to deal... I told him I had other trucks to check out... He told me this is the best deal in town... Little did I know he was right... After traveling all over Chicago and trying to deal with other car dealers, that was an experience I will never forget... We came back to Napleton Cadillac, with the help of August and Mike Smith we were able to close on the best deal in town. The professionalism and courtesy these two gentlemen showed me and my wife was tremendous... Thank you August and Mike, you helped us accomplish our goal. More
