Emergency Oil We were driving toward Rockford and our Subaru oil light went on. Great, fast, friendly service. Irv Bolthouse was my service adviser, and he was fast and friendly. I came in and everyone in service said hello. Irv and Tina were very pleasant and professional, even though it was a holiday and they were at work inst I had my Cadillac serviced on MEMORIAL DAY. I have serviced all of them there over the years and have always been treated great. Although this time I saw Irv and Tina, I have never been unhappy with anyone there. It is a first class operation! People were very nice and not high pressure. Mathew was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the Subaru's we test drove. All 5 of them. Would highly recommend Mathew Vincent. Napleton - Reinforcing Rockford's Negative Image I traded a beautiful 2015 Toyota truck for a Cadillac. I lost money on trade, but got a Cadillac. Turns out, Napleton sold me a "Lemon"...and played g I traded a beautiful 2015 Toyota truck for a Cadillac. I lost money on trade, but got a Cadillac. Turns out, Napleton sold me a "Lemon"...and played games honoring warranty repairs. I'm looking at further losses to trade this "Lemon" away. Losses will total $8000 or more. Its only been 1 MONTH and I'm trying get rid of this car. It's a bad situation. An expensive lesson. ***BUYER BEWARE*** Walking into Napleton Cadillac/Subaru was the mistake of a lifetime for me. Sales played the warranty promise card, but after purchase, haven't followed through. Service appears incompetent or malicious because after multiple visits, my car is worse now than when I bought it. They cannot or will not fix car problems, and each visit more things seem to break when I instantly leave the dealership. Coincidence? After many hours in their waiting room...I've experienced no progress. They say they care, but run me in circles, actions speak louder than words. I feel like a victim of fraud, theft & vandalism. Service pushed my car through the shop with no regard for my concerns. They had zero interest in listening to me & Service Mgrs. were focused on funneling me through their "process" (like corralling sheep), rather than listening to noises my car makes. I've squandered valuable hours "waiting", only to be ignored, "processed", fed slabs of nonsensical gibberish, then placated....while my car problem's persist....and are now worse. Being proactive, offering to explain the issue to mechanics, even show them, earned me dirty looks & rude behavior. They did not care or show interest in my car. However, after completely ignoring me, I SAW THEM "test" drive my expensive luxury car, racing it wildly, squealing tires, pedal down acceleration, hard breaking, heavy G cornering & beating it up - only to tell me they found "NOTHING" wrong. They served the ultimate disrespect on a silver platter. It's like a bad dream...except I'm being victimized & abused for real. Sales gave the impression Napleton Service is "top flight" when I was dropping BIG money, but once I used Service...I quickly realized, they're substandard compared to what I've experienced before. They simply showed no effort. After being ignored, dismissed, "processed", & beating my car, they ran it through their old decrepit car wash where they hand dried it with dirty gritty towels...scratching my paint. So....my visit consisted of wasting time, effort, money, to get my car back; unfixed, worn out, beat up, with scratched paint, mushy brakes, pulling alignment & a smile on their face that said....Thanks sucker, YOU are a FOOL for coming here. Napleton wants me to return. Their effort now is a little late...& I think its more for damage control than actual customer service. My stance is they've sabotaged my car & abused it to the point I have zero faith in them. They've destroyed my trust. I'm now waiting for independent inspection to verify damages. Everyone can hear the noises my car makes, including my attorney. Napleton claims my car is perfectly fine. GM corporate has been notified. I'm working with Cadillac. Honestly, why would I return to suffer more damage, more scratched paint, more customer abuse, & more hotrod beating? I wont...but of course, they can claim "they tried". I got this treatment for the price of a house. I traded in a BEAUTIFUL truck with no problems for this rotten experience. I'm a loyal, devoted customer to local business....but Napleton is one of the WORST decisions of my life. I've hemorrhaged large sums of cash here. I sorrowfully regret the day I walked into their showroom of deceit. I suggest you RUN...as fast as you can. Belvidere, Freeport, Beloit, Janesville all have Cadillac Dealerships, Save yourself! I sincerely declare...It is my firm belief the 5 star reviews here don't seem legit. maybe an employee, friend, fake post, or one very gullible, very naïve, sheltered customer. You cant tell me I'm the 1st victim of fraud by this dealership...not possible. Loss will surpass $8000 in 2 months, documented. For the record, this post keeps getting flagged & censored by Dealer rater & Napleton. I wonder why? . More
