Customer Service I recently brought car in from Carthage, MO for oil change and filter, computer update. Pick car up all ok, drove back to Carthage fine. Next day we took a drive and tried to use the cruise control. It had been disengaged by the update. Called service and they I would need to bring it back in. Said there was nothing he could do for us. I called my salesman JR, and he right away knew what the problem was and walked me through it on the phone. Good customer service on the sales side poor customer service on the service side. It’s pretty obvious that there is a need of some training on the service side. Sorry about the bad review. More
best service ever I take my 2016 Outlander sport there to be serviced. They have very friendly service personnel. I always feel very welcomed and as though I am an impo I take my 2016 Outlander sport there to be serviced. They have very friendly service personnel. I always feel very welcomed and as though I am an important client. They inform me if things need to be done while I am there so I don't have to return another time. I appreciate this because I do not live in Springfield and it is often not easy to get in to Springfield just anytime. When I call for an appointment it is easy and quick to get in. I don't have to wait weeks for an appointment. They also have good hours for working persons. I will continue to go to Napleton Volkswagen Springfield. More
Not empressed at all. Circled the parking lot several times and getting out and look at several different vehicles for quite some time and was fixen to leave when the sale Circled the parking lot several times and getting out and look at several different vehicles for quite some time and was fixen to leave when the salesman finally came out. No prices on any of the vehicles. Had wrong paperwork on several vehicles. Not just one or 2. At least 5 of the 6 I looked at. Ended up buying the 13 Jetta that was listed as 11 with 2.0 turbo. Salesman may have been salesman of the year but came up with every excuse in the book For everything. said 2.0 was best motor made until He popped the hood and than he said “oh wait. That’s a 2.5. That’s the best motor they make. Not the 2.0”. Talked him down on price a little and he acted like we was making him starve to death the whole time. The car had 2 lights burned out on it and 2 bad tire and 2 really bad rims. Bad enough that the tire shop just beat on them with a sledge hammer to get to a little closer to round. Still bad but not as bad. I would think any used car dealer would make sure all the lights work and the car rode fine. But I know I got a used car not a new car. And I know if I’d pointed it out they would have asked if I paid for the additional warranty. And I did not and not going to. I can buy tires and bulbs cheaper than your warranty and I don’t have to bring it all the way to the dealer to get it fixed. And the car jack is missing and the spare tire mount in the trunk was missing. I KNOW ITS A USED CAR BUT COME ON!!! No I did not contact the dealer because they acted as if we where bothering them as it was. And I know this is all little stuff but it just makes the buying experience a real negative experience. i don’t Expect to see my rating and review on any website for the dealer as it is negative But it was my experience. 2013 Jetta 2.5 liter 5 cylinder. Listed as a2011 2.0 turbo sports wagon. And yes I still have the paperwork as people don’t believe me until I show them. And sorry to sound so negative but everytime I get over 60 mph the bad tires remind me of the dealer. Yes I test drive the car before buying but I did not get it on the interstate at interstate speeds. So that’s really my fault. And the only reason I got the car is the price seemed real decent and it was in great shape. Just small stuff that can be fixed cheaply. And I will recommend the dealer as the prices seemed fair. More

GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME! I've bought 5 cars at this dealership since 2010, 3 since 2016. Since Napleton bought it, the service department has gotten better and better, especia I've bought 5 cars at this dealership since 2010, 3 since 2016. Since Napleton bought it, the service department has gotten better and better, especially since Derek Owens took over as service manager. I have no qualms about recommending these guys to look after you Volkswagen vehicle! More
