Me and my husband arrived at Nalley Toyota of Union City to be greeted by "Joe". He was professional, knowledgeable and passionate about the Toyota Camry. Although I had already fell in love with the car, h to be greeted by "Joe". He was professional, knowledgeable and passionate about the Toyota Camry. Although I had already fell in love with the car, he went over all the features and really highlighted the safety features. He was very personable with outstanding customer service. He really sold us on the car. Our issue came when it was time to finance the car. The sales manager said we could get the car for 21400 out the door. Had me sign it and all. We waited for the finance folks to go over the terms and that's when everything went downhill. The finance manager told us the price we agreed on could not be honored. There was about a $2000 difference. The whole deal went left. The finance manager was so rude and matter of factly in her delivery. She came to our table like we did something wrong. She kept insisting that they could not do the deal and the Sales Manager made a mistake. 1. Honor the agreement we made. 2. Customer service is important. She needs to get some training on how to renegotiate a deal. Why the attitude? We just wanted clarification on how the deal went up that drastically. To be honest. I wanted the car that bad that I would have agreed to the extra money had the lady been a little bit nicer. More
UNETHICAL AND UNTRUSTWORTHY I called the Nalley Toyota of Union City to inquire about a 2018 Lexus GX that was listed for sale on their website. I was assigned a sales agent nam I called the Nalley Toyota of Union City to inquire about a 2018 Lexus GX that was listed for sale on their website. I was assigned a sales agent named Thomas Brown. After several calls and emails, Thomas Brown, his managers (George and Jeff Davenport), and I came to a deal. The deal was contingent on me giving them my personal information and credit card information to place a hold on the vehicle, as I do not live local and would not be able to make it to the dealership for a couple days. I gave them all the information they requested and was guaranteed that my vehicle would be there for me to pick-up. Thomas Brown called me the next day and told me that everything was good, not to worry, and they were searching for the second key for the vehicle (including calling the previous owner to see if she had it). I cancelled all my appointments, rearranged my week, and made plans to go get the vehicle. I called Thomas Brown back the day before departing and was told that he could not hold vehicles for customers and that the car was being sold as we spoke on the phone and let me go. I called back asking for clarification and how this could be. We had a contract and deposit. He then said he was looking for another vehicle for me. I was offered a different Lexus GX at a higher price, because they could no longer honor our original agreement, because they were selling the car. I refused the higher price vehicle and asked to speak with a manager. He said he would pass my information along. No one called or emailed me back. I called back and left a message for the General Manager to please call me and sent an email to the manager that approved the original deal, but have heard nothing back. I then researched the other vehicle they offered me and found that it was at Nalley Lexus and called them. I told them of what had occurred and they said that they could not honor the price that Thomas and George gave me because it was below their cost. The agent at Lexus also told me that she had just helped someone else that the exact same thing had happened to (except they had flown in one way from NC). My advise for anyone looking to buy from this dealership is to RUN. They are not honest or trustworthy. They will gather all of your personal information, make a contractual deal with you, take your credit card or banking information for a deposit, and then sell the car out from under you. BEWARE!! They do not care about the customer or how you are treated! More
