It began with a casual evening visit on December 9th to Nalley Toyota Stonecrest. My wife and I had already visited 3 other car dealerships and as the old saying says, we saved the best for last. Well Nalley Toyota Stonecrest. My wife and I had already visited 3 other car dealerships and as the old saying says, we saved the best for last. Well, we were met in the parking lot at the furthest end to the left by Mr. Donell Lewis who introduced himself and proceeded to inquire of our visit. He was very calm, poised and quietly deliberate about entertaining our questions regarding the Toyota Tacoma Trucks which we were looking at. We shared with him that we had looked at other trucks and that we were in the fact finding stage. I noticed that this statement didn't sway him from providing information and even showing us a couple of 2020 Tocoma Trucks which I originally thought were 2019. Our plan was to shop for a 2019 or older vehicle in order to take advantage of the end of the year sales. Well after examining three 2020 Trucks the 3rd one being a Limited Edition Tacoma is when Donell learned that we were interested in 2019 or older vehicles as mentioned above. Now at this point the sun was setting and we still hadn't settled on a vehicle. Again, we didn't make it known of our desires but once we did Donell said I have a truck that you may be interested in since he noticed how much I liked that 2020 Limited Edition Tacoma. He showed us a 2016 Limited Edition Tacoma which we test drove and immediately from that ride I said to my wife "This Is The One." If we could come to an agreement that we should buy this vehicle. I must mention once again that Donell was calm, poised, and very professional at all times, even while my wife and I were discussing things during the ride. Donell's behavior if I can say that made such a difference because unbeknownst to him my wife car buying experience can stress her out. His calmness made all the difference. So we returned from the test drive and do time lost examining those 2020's we had to leave quickly to pick up my elderly mother-in-law. We told Donell that we'll get back with him soon which we did later that evening with a phone call stating that we had made a decision regarding the truck if things could be worked out. He said great and that he was certain that they would and scheduled an appointment for us to return the next morning. We returned a little later than the scheduled time do to taking care of mom and again Donell didn't show any type of disgusts which didn't go unrecognized. Great service means a great deal to me and my wife. Both of us retired from service positions after 30+ years for each. We made the deal with Donell who took our request to Mr. Ahmed Shagari a Sales Manager who we met the night before. We had shared with Mr. Shagari that we would be back so he was looking forward toward our return as well. The negotiations were completed and the beginning of the purchase was to be done. We dealt with the finance dept and made arrangements to purchase the vehicle outright with some creative funding which worked out from their assistance which we were grateful for. I apologize for the lengthy review but there is a lot which goes into making such a major purchase and you shouldn't take anything for granted. Having said that, I like to share with you that I decided to meet the person who is responsible for service of your vehicles, Ms/ Mrs Patricia Shabazz. I purposely requested to speak with her in order to introduce myself to her so that I could ask pertinent questions regarding service, tech's, service advisors, retention of buyers, etc. Remember, I'm coming from a background of service and it's very important to get great service. I can't express to you in words alone of our sit down and how wonderful it was. Pat, if I may call het that was so genuine, clear, direct, open, thorough, professional, and I feel honest with me during our meeting. She took her time with me, introduced me to the service advisors, showed me around the facility, showed me employees working behind the scenes on each buyers behalf and much more. Words can't describe how I felt after our engagement. All I can say is this, never have I experienced this before at any other dealership in all my days or buying experience. Thank you Pat! Finally, all vehicles will have to be serviced at some point, used or even new at times. When this day arrive, I have complete confidence in Nalley Toyota Stonecrest team to take care of the issue and our relationship will continue to grow over the many years. Thank you Mr. Donell E. Simply life changing I have visited MANY Dealerships, but not one of them left me feeling as if they were genuinely concerned about me or the Community. Until I visited Nalley Toyota of Stonecrest, that's why my husband and I decided to purchase our vehicle from them. The level of professionalism was like a breathe of fresh air. But the icing on the cake was how they treated us after we purchased the vehicle. They were still professional and patient with us. I have been serving my Community for many years, and I have never seen a Dealership serve our Community without an alternative motive until I met the staff at Nalley Stonecrest. Mrs. Pat Shabazz is one of the most humble, caring and genuine people you will ever meet. How she cares for her staff is encouraging. I have set in the building as my Truck was getting serviced, and I watched her as she engaged ever Employee and ever customer with such concern that they all felt heard. Over the years I have watched Mrs. Shabazz partner with several different Organizations helping them to feed, clothe and serve OUR Community, and never asking or expecting anything in return. This year for Christmas my Organization, Freedom Ain't Free asked Nalley Toyota of Stonecrest to partner with us for Toys For Tots, and without hesitation they not only agreed, but they helped us by donating several bikes and dozens of toys for OUR Community. The General Manager Darryl Jefferson made the time to not just let his team do the work, but he participated in making this Toy Drive a GREAT success. So I feel as though I am very qualified to tell everyone... I HIGHLY recommend you purchasing your next vehicle from Nalley Toyota of Stonecrest. Nalley isn't just a Dealership in OUR Community, it is a part of OUR Community! Why settle for people who are only tolerating you, when you can have people who truly celebrate you! More
