A quick update: So after being a little persistent, I got in Touch with the general manager of the dealership (I won’t mention his/her name). After listening to my story, they came to the conclusion that helping me in some kind of way was reasonable. I won’t get some details of what kind of help was provided (no I did not receive a new car), but they did accommodate me in a way that I felt to be reasonable and more than fair. Please understand I did not go in there kicking in screaming but rather had a mature conversation where understanding was met. I am not satisfied just because they help me, i’m satisfied because they lived up to the expectation of buying from a reputable dealer and that gives me comfort in where and who I purchase my future cars from.
