I had to have my 2023 Rav 4 towed there from my office. It arrived at the dealership at 10am. Around 11 I called to see if they had a chance to check it out. No one answered the service number. I proceeded to call roughly every 20 minutes and there was never an answer. I called the parts department and someone “sent a message” to service. No one called back. I called the sales number, and shockingly, no one answered that number either. I left messages with anyone I could get a voicemail for including the GM and no one called me back. I ended up speaking with the operator. She told me that someone had been attempting to contact me all day to approve the repair. I explained that the car was under warranty and that there wouldn’t be a charge. She asked me what was wrong with it. I explained what happened. She said “Oh, that sounds like you need a new engine” and the. Said maybe a battery which wouldn’t be under warranty. Wrong on both accounts. She kept reiterating that she was looking at the techs call log saying that he called me. I told her that it was the incorrect phone number. (I had even confirmed my number with to tow truck driver) She put me through to the gentleman, finally. He didn’t have any answers for me. I finally had a coworker drive me up to the dealership. When I arrived I spoke with a wonderful person whose name escapes me at this moment. I want to say his name started with a “J”. He started looking into what was going on. Insert the gentleman that had been calling me “all day”. Turns out, they hadn’t even brought my vehicle into the bay to look at it…. Since 10am. It was now about 4:30 at this point. “J” apologizes and has me wait in the seating area while his shop manager looks at my car. Long story short (too late) a part needed to be ordered. “J” and the shop manager had it drop shipped so it would arrive sooner than expected and gave me a loaner car in the meantime. The people that I spoke with before had no sense of urgency and even less of a sense of customer service. The woman I spoke to previously mentioned that Nalley closed all of the onsite service lines in all of their dealerships and all calls go to one service company which is ridiculous. I purchased my vehicle from Heyward Allen Toyota in Athens. It was most unfortunate that I was at an office too far away to tow it to with my roadside. Heyward Allen always answers the calls and their service area staff are nothing short of fantastic. My experience at Nalley Stonecrest was abysmal. The only reason there are three stars instead of one was due to “J” and the head mechanic going above and beyond to assist me after the ball was severely dropped by everyone else I spoke with. More
