Bought a Kia Sorento Hybrid in 2023 from MB Kia and the sale went well. However, had a terrible experience with the service department last week. Went for my 15000mile maintenance and an oil change at a sale went well. However, had a terrible experience with the service department last week. Went for my 15000mile maintenance and an oil change at a scheduled appt. They told me that the oil change was included on the maintenance plan I bought with the car but the maintenance would cost $300. I said fine, just do the oil change. Then went to the waiting room. Waited an hour and came out to check if it was done and my car had not even been moved. The service tech said "Oh, they were three cars behind - they're about to bring it back". I had another place to be, so I took my key and left. NO communication at all about this delay at check in, or during the entire hour I was waiting. I'll be taking my car elsewhere for maintenance. More
