Had several previous very positive visits to this service department, though most recent not quite as good. Received unsolicited email offering my vin promaster an oil change for 21.95. Though it was a bit early, the price convinced me to call for an appointment. I specified the discounted price when making the appointment. The day of service I waited in a pleasant area with coffee, etc. After only 30 or 40 minutes I was called to the service desk, where the cost was over twice that stated in the email. When I objected, the service person said I had to bring a copy of the email to qualify. However, nowhere in the email did it note this requirement. The service writer relented and gave the advertised price, but did not do it with good humor. Clearly a silly mistake by the dealership, to invest in customer acquisition with a bargain price and then leave that customer with a bad feeling. More
