My Gladiator was brought in on 4/9 for an oil change and tire rotation. Had to bring it back on 4/10 because it was pulling to the right. They found a bolt missing from the sway bar and fixed it. Everything tire rotation. Had to bring it back on 4/10 because it was pulling to the right. They found a bolt missing from the sway bar and fixed it. Everything else checked out — including the full inspection of the brakes, pads and rotors. 1,000 highway miles later and my back passenger brake is metal on metal. No warning until the grinding the day before I called back to get it in. Explained everything. They couldn’t find my service for the 9th or the 10th. The response I ended up getting was “we must have overlooked it.” How? How do you overlook it when it’s clearly marked on my paperwork that the tech did a full inspection and even marked the brakes as GOOD? I’m completely fine if they wore out and had to be replaced. What I’m not fine with is feeling like there was incompetence and lack of accountability. My Gladiator has 14,000 miles. Still trying to understand why my brakes are already gone. I am now having another dealership inspect for any underlying issues that may have cause this. Lack of attention to detail and following through with the 16-point inspection has now cost me more money because I will now be replacing not only the brakes, but the rotors. Also, the bolt that they replaced lasted exactly two days. That never got caught on this last visit either. No resolve. Not impressed. Also. The person listed for the service department on this survey is NOT the person responsible. The name on our paperwork can be found on our service from April 9. I believe it is Gwenn? More
