Generally, I get great service from Muskegon Subaru. This past service on May 24, was supposed to be for the free tire rotation since I brought in a donation of canned goods. Several times recently, th This past service on May 24, was supposed to be for the free tire rotation since I brought in a donation of canned goods. Several times recently, the Low Tire Pressure warning light would come on, so I asked them to check the possible problem tire. After an hour, Justin came out and said, "I don't have good news". He said that a valve stem needed to be replaced and recommended replacing all the tires and gave several reasons as to why this would be necessary. After calling my husband, we decided to go ahead with this service and replacing all the tires. To make a long story shorter, it took me 3 trips to Subaru to correct errors the tech guy made. After my initial service on the 24th, my "Low Tire Pressure" warning light came on again. That made me angry. Come to find out I needed 3 valve stems replaced instead of one. At least, I wasn't charged for that service, but what a shock to come in for a FREE tire rotation and ended up paying out over $869. I had this niggling thought in the back of my mind: Did Subaru offer a free tire rotation, just to add other "necessary" service to the free aspect of the visit? I had people mention this possibility to me, but I really hope Subaru would never do this. I did get a coupon for ONE free oil change and 10% off my next service. I figure, with all the rig-a-ma-role I had to go through, I should be offered FREE oil changes for the LIFE of my car. I did purchase it NEW from Muskegon Subaru. I appreciate this opportunity to air my frustrations to Subaru. Thank you. More
