Toyota Service Has a poor busness ethic! This is a response to Mark Leutzinger's response to my previous review. His response just confirms my belief that Toyota service has a poor business ethic. ( Deal Rater would not allow me to reply directly to Mark Leutzinger's response) First of all, the weld that was done by Robinhood Muffler on my exhaust brought my exhaust system back to "like new" condition, and lasted 2 more years. Remember that the My Import mechanic told me, in person, that my issue was not able to be rewelded due to the exhaust pipe being "too thin" to be successfully welded. Secondly, I specifically asked the service desk attendant if the $45 charge for the computer diagnosis would apply to any service work that was diagnosed. (This is a "free service" at most local automotive parts retail stores.) His reply was "NO" and when he saw the disappointment on my face he, smugly, asked me if I wanted to cancel the appointment I had just made for the following day. Mark Leutzinger was never present at any part of this conversation. I proceeded from the service area into the new car sales area and filed my grievance with My Import's General Manager, Josh Benson. Thankfully I am a Mechanical Engineer and saw through their games. I just pitty the unsuspecting customers that may fall into their trap. Good Luck if you decide to ignore my review, Jack Howell More

I met with Frank Siebart who enthusiastically told me he would take care of my vehicle. After completing extensive service on the vehicle I waited a couple of weeks and am happy to say that all the systems serviced are operating perfectly. Frank and his team were consummate professionals and completed a lengthy list of services in a timely manner. Rather than have me wait, I was offered the use of a new vehicle to shuttle myself home and back to the center. I am completely satisfied with the service and especially the courtesy extended to me. More

My 2013 Passat TDI was just turning 20,000 miles and in need of an oil change. Traveling from Nashville to Muskegon MI for summer vacation, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived.. This is truly the best run dealership I have ever encountered. The staff is over the top friendly amd efficient. I left wishing Nashville, Tennessee had a VW dealership with half the professionalism as My Import in Muskegon, Michigan. Thanks for a delightful visit! More

Competent Service Technicians I can't believe I have waited this long to complement the service technicians at My Auto Imports in Muskegon! They work back there, behind the scenes I can't believe I have waited this long to complement the service technicians at My Auto Imports in Muskegon! They work back there, behind the scenes, doing good work on cars all day long. They work hard and they work well. They always take the best care of my cars. Never, have I had to bring back a car for something to be redone; they always do it right the first time and every time. How do they do it? So, this is a shout out to the technicians. I had an accident in Ludington MI on Valentine's day -- it was a Friday, snowing and late in the afternoon. Having recently moved to the west side of the state from Midland, I decided to have my car to -- it was a Friday, snowing and late in the afternoon. Having recently moved to the west side of the state from Midland, I decided to have my car towed to My Auto Import because they were the nearest Toyota dealership in the area. This was the second Toyota vehicle I had purchased and my prior experiences with Toyota dealerships were at the highest level and assumed that since it was a Toyota dealership, I would receive the same level of service. I was connected to Kelly Peterson and she made arrangements to have a car waiting for me since my car could not be driven. The tow truck made it to the dealership at 6:00 p.m. -- closing time. There was a salesman still there, unfortunately I did not get his name, but he went out of his way to find the paperwork Kelly had left and got me in the car so I could get back home. The next day, Saturday, I spoke with Kevin, in Service, and found out that the dealership did not have a body shop. There was a collision shop next door and he said he would get my car over to them on Monday so I could start the process of getting it fixed. So the point of this review is that even though my car was not being fixed by the dealership, they went out of their way to make sure I had a vehicle to use and got my car to where it needed to be. The staff I came in contact has been very helpful and professional and I look forward to knowing that they will take good care of me in the future when I need to have my car serviced. More

The Subaru I now drive is a 2001 Outback. Previously, I owned a 1988 Subaru wagon. I purchased the Subarus because the size and style of the car fits my lifestyle, because the car is reliable, and because owned a 1988 Subaru wagon. Regular maintenance is part of the reason a Subaru lasts forever! When I purchased my cars, the dealership was under a different name and had a different owner. I "moved" to the new location with the new owner. I would never consider doing anything else. The fellows who work on my car KNOW my car. The service manager, Frank, knows me when I call. I feel that Frank has never steered me in the wrong direction. When he and the repairmen recommend something, it is done with consideration for my budget and my safety. Frank "warns" me ahead of a big repair ("Next time you come in for an oil change, it will be a good idea to . . . .). They say that my car can last another 100,000. :-) But if it doesn't last that long, the first place I'll look for a new car is at My Auto Import Center. My brother just bought a new Su there this winter. More
My Nissan had a faulty wiper transmission so I asked about getting it fixed while in for a routine oil change. They ordered the part and I went back 10 days later to have it replaced. While there, the service department realized they had ordered the wrong part so I ended up having to go back another 8 days later. Though I had to make an extra trip, the service was excellent from the start and they made sure I was satisfied before I left. Being a mother of two small children, I appreciate the seperate play area for the kids and they provide beverages, snacks, TV, internet, and reading material of all different tastes. I highly reccommend My Auto time and time again. More
