Kevin in service did a great job. Kevin and the service tech took the time to diagnose and attempt to repair a shifting issue. Rather than jumping directly to a replacement linkage at Kevin and the service tech took the time to diagnose and attempt to repair a shifting issue. Rather than jumping directly to a replacement linkage at a cost of $1,500, they took it apart, cleaned it well, lubricated it and put it back together. Kevin gave a good description of the problem and a realistic idea of how long the fix may last and an invite to return for another attempt if the issue remained. Good customer service. Thank you. Not a good experience with Kevin @ Toyota service desk. Let me start by saying, we have purchased 3 brand new Toyotas in the past two years, two of them being from My Toyota. The only reason the 3rd one di Let me start by saying, we have purchased 3 brand new Toyotas in the past two years, two of them being from My Toyota. The only reason the 3rd one didn't come from you, was that you didn't have what we wanted, and when we were on vacation, a close dealer did. (Fernelius in Cheboygan, Mi) I brought my 4Runner in to have the blower fan looked at, because when I warmed up the vehicle, sometime the fan did not kick on, defrosting the windows. Service department replaced an amplifier and one other part, that I cannot remember the name of, sorry. This is NOT what was written on my receipt in the description part of what was being worked on. Kevin did not truly listen to my story as to what was happening. After a couple of days (after not driving the vehicle for four days) I called back because I was not getting much heat, even with the temperature dial all the way up. Kevin's response was "Well, that was a long time ago, you should have called back the very next day." I explained to him that I didn't drive the vehicle for a few days. He stated that I should have noticed that on the way home. I said, "Please, listen to the rest of my story! I tried to explain to him that I didn't drive it for a few days, and when I do, I only drive 5 miles to work. He then repeated "I just can't believe that you didn't bring it in the next day." By this time, I was so tired of him NOT listening, that I was yelling at him to LISTEN, and he hung up the phone on me. I immediately called back, and asked to talk to someone in management that was above Kevin. I spoke with Javid, and he was more than concerned with getting my 4Runner fixed and very apologetic for the way that I was treated. He even gave me his personal cell # to make arrangements to meet him, when I brought my vehicle in. As I was about to hang up with Javid, Kevin had called back and was leaving me a voicemail. Kevin actually said "Sorry you felt the need to hang up on me." -He tried to blame it on me. I have the voicemail saved. My 4 runner did get fixed, but sorry to say, I will NEVER deal with Kevin again, as a service writer. I hope he doesn't treat other customers this way, he was very rude, condescending and belittling. More
Freindly and timely Very freindly. Service was completed in the time they had given me which was refreshing compared to the last service center I visited. Also gave me Very freindly. Exceptional Service - Mickala was great! Upon driving up to the VW/Audi window we were greeted with warm smiles and welcomed by name. Mickala explained the process and timeline for which our vehicle would be serviced. She also asked if we were familiar with the lobby and offered to show us around. We purchased our vehicle from My auto a few months prior so that wasn’t necessary. The lobby area is very nice and accommodating to guests with soda, coffee, snacks, tv, WiFi, video games, massage chairs and more! The wait was pleasurable and quicker than we expected. When we returned to the desk she went over all the details as to what was done while pointing them out on the reciept. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Thank you Mickala and My Auto!! Top notch service center I am always satisfied with the staff, technicians, their attention to getting my vehicle in, serviced, informing me of concerns if needed and back o I am always satisfied with the staff, technicians, their attention to getting my vehicle in, serviced, informing me of concerns if needed and back out to me, their willingness to help with technical questions or lack of knowledge I have, A wonderful waiting area that is comfortable, clean, quiet, Internet access, beverages and even a couple of free massage chairs (that are so wonderful).
