While the deal fell through because I discovered a bad rack & pinion in the vehicle I had sent a deposit on, the dealership as a whole was very good. They would have repaired the vehicle quickly to get the car to me. However, the part was on indefinite back-order everywhere. I tried to find the part as well while I was there. They were also willing to pay for the repair if I had it done at my hometown or reduce the selling price by the amount of the repair. However, I and their service manage determined that the vehicle should not be driven. Because I had flown to get the vehicle, and now had no transportation to get home, they assumed the responsibility to fly me back home. They were very good to work with and very accommodating to me in regards to putting the vehicle on the lift to further diagnose it. I've dealt with used care dealers before, and this one is one of the rare ones that will try to take care of you. I did spend a day of my time and the cost of the flight to get there, so that was disappointing. I also did not get the vehicle I had hoped to drive home. However, only a well-seasoned mechanic would have discovered this problem and I happen to be one. If I lived in the area I may have made a contingency deal, knowing that the vehicle was not drivable until they got the part replaced. They were very willing to make me a satisfied customer. I will not rate the people by name in the departments because I forgot their names. I worked with Ian Fidd in sales and he was good to work with. All the departments were very accommodating. More
