The service also was quite efficient in terms of time, taking only 4 hours when it was estimated to be at minimum 5 hours. no complaints I knew what I wanted. They advertised a price I liked. I made an appointment. They had the vehicle ready to go for a test drive. They answered my ques I knew what I wanted. I asked for an out the door price in writing ( I had underestimated local taxes). They gave me one and let me make my decision at my own pace. If I could give negative stars, I would.. This dealership is by far & away, the must unethical & unprofessional in the entire Chicagoland area. After being promised a vehicle at a certain price point, I was is by far & away, the must unethical & unprofessional in the entire Chicagoland area. After being promised a vehicle at a certain price point, I was then informed IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACQUISITION, that the price had been raised over $2,500 dollars. After speaking with the GM Joe, who was unflappable in his unconcern regarding the matter, he blatantly ADMITTED that It was a screw up on their end & that someone on his team had just input the wrong price online. Even knowing & admitting this, he still went on to insist that he would NOT honor the price that was on his website. Which had also, by this point, already been verbally confirmed by one of his employees (Jazmime) as well. Business 101 dictates that customers should NEVER be penalized for internal mistakes, yet that is EXACTLY the kind of business they do here at Fox Motors, Lincoln. If they promise you a price, get it in WRITING because they are definitely not a reputable company. And the GM Joe does not have even a modicum of integrity. He is completely bereft of BASIC customer service skills. It's all about making a buck to him & passing costs on to customers. I will never do business with these people again, & If you're smart you will steer clear, too. More
