Beware! Worst dealer experience ever. We test drove a certified pre owned vehicle and asked the dealership to appraise our trade. When we told them we were not going to make a purchase decision on the s certified pre owned vehicle and asked the dealership to appraise our trade. When we told them we were not going to make a purchase decision on the spot - that we wanted to complete the trade appraisal, work the numbers, and think on it overnight, the sales employee became visibly angry. He told us that he had plenty of other customers ready to buy and refused to appraise our trade. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!! More
I utilized the USAA car buying service to make contact with this dealership for the purchase of a 2012 VW Touareg TDI. Even though they had the type of vehicle I wanted on the lot, the color did not suit with this dealership for the purchase of a 2012 VW Touareg TDI. Even though they had the type of vehicle I wanted on the lot, the color did not suit my tastes. Van identified several vehicles for me and had a driver travel overnight to Jackson, MS. He located the VW I wanted and had it ready for me in no time. On top of all that, he gave me a fair and honest price on my trade. It is worth the drive to Murfreesboro. Aside from all of this, the next day, I was hit in my new VW (other drivers fault). Van and the entire dealership are working with me at this time to repair my VW and they are going to inspect it and ensure that I am ready to get back on the road. Aside from my frustration with the body damage, these folks are there to satisfy the customer. I highly recommend Signature VW. I also observed other folks being taken care of exceptionally well while we did our purchase. More
I started the car buying process at a local dealer yesterday and literally left in tears this morning after poor communication and a lot of feet dragging on their end. The bottom line was that I just didn't feel comfortable and wasn't presented with all of my options- I made my color preferences clear (metallic paint only, please!) and explained which options I'd like but didn't necessarily need in a 2011 OR 2012 Golf. The dealer chose to only show me three 2011 cars at a dealership in Georgia, two in unacceptable colors and did not do any work to get me a quote on a 2012. We went through xxxx negotiating the price down and were held hostage for two and a half hours- the manager had our keys after doing an appraisal on the Jetta we were trading in, and our salesperson conveniently forgot to get our keys back each time we asked for them when he went to see his manager with a question or an offer from us. THANK GOODNESS my dad (who lives across the country and couldn't be there to help us in person) had been communicating with Alan through e-mail when we started getting a bad feeling about our local dealer and little details of our previous (often bad or misleading) experiences of buying and maintaining a CPO Jetta there started to resurface in our memories. After ending our relationship with the local dealer, my dad called Signature Volkswagen and talked to Alan about what, specifically, we were looking for. We started the hour drive to Signature VW, and Alan called me within half an hour of talking to my dad with a quote on the same 2011 that we almost purchased through the local dealer as well as a quote for a 2012 that he had on the lot. At my request, he tried to find other 2012 Golfs in two other colors that I liked; he found seven, but the cost to transport one would not have been worth the extra expense each month. It was amazing how quickly he found information that would have taken my local salesperson hours to get to us; our local guy had supposedly been working on this for us all of yesterday afternoon and this morning to get this information. In addition to being quick to get information to us, Alan was patient, kind, and understanding. When we arrived, the other employees were just as courteous and helpful. We left with the 2012 Golf this afternoon with a price that I felt comfortable with and that we never would have gotten at our local dealer- if we did, it probably would have involved another hostage situation and a lot of frustration. Thank you, Alan and Signature VW for turning my day around and sending me off with a smile and a new car! More
We have not bought a new car in a very long time. This experience was wonderful. Very friendly sales people with very little pressure. Michael is a great salesman. He was very attentive down to the smallest detail. Today was my birthday, and he made our purchase special from the bow on the hood, and a cake and balloons all ready when we w to the smallest detail. I have attempting to order a 2012 Veloster since November. i was there in person 12/5 to place my deposit on the car, I was told to keep it; they wanted to appraise my trade in. I returned 12/28 for the appraisal and to place the deposit on the car again. I was informed that the car had not been ordered because I didnt place a deposit...What? I gave them the check 12/5/11 but they insisted I keep it. Then the appraisal wouldn;t be the same be the time the car came arrived in 90 days..huh? If I signed the papers with the date on it and this is what you told me my car is worth but now you state that it will change when my car arrives? Thats not right!! The manager got involved then stated well, I guess we can't do business! Fine w/me! Who wants a dealership like this that doesn't respect someone enough to tell them the truth! NEVER BUY A CAR THERE!!!! ITS ALL xx THAT THEY FEED YOU!!!!! More
Horrible SERVICE experience. I took my 2000 VM Beetle in for an OIL change and to have an air bag light checked. Seriously thought I could wait for it. I was told by the service advisor that it would be bet for an OIL change and to have an air bag light checked. Seriously thought I could wait for it. I was told by the service advisor that it would be better to leave it so I called a friend to come pick me up. 9:00am - dropped off car 12:30pm - Air bag light is a switch issue under the seat and need approval to fix. Approx' 1.5 more hours. Approved 1:45pm - Called to check status since I was out and would need to get a ride. I was told it would take a couple more hours. 3:17pm - Service Advisor leaves a message car is ready 3:20pm - I called back to pay over the phone. Advisor was busy 3:55pm - Advisor called back and informed me that I HAD to pick up and pay in person.. No Exceptions. Asked the Service Manager, George to make an exception, since I did not plan to have someone bring me back after 4 pm and could not get off work and have someone shutlle me there before the close at 6:00. George informed he could not make an exception because he did not want to get fired.. 4:30pm - Borrowed a vehicle and went to pay, When I got there an arguement ensued.. The service manager actually said he did not have time to tell customers about policys and He began to argue and yell at me stating "I thought you couldn't get here".. Repetedly I asked him to go away and to get out of my space, he told me he worked there and did not have too.. I was standing in front of the cashiers window trying to payt and get out. He continued to berate and argue until I left the building.. I even adked for someone to call the POLICE at one point. How HARD would it be to tell customers when they leave a car that they must pick it back up and pay in person, not over the phone? Geroge HAS no business working in the service industry. He appratently does not understand his role as a CUSTOMER SERVICE person. I ask for the owner and have left a VM. I have also filed a complaint with VW corp. We will see what comes of it.. Obviously WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER. More
Very positive experience! I was looking for a new car and visited 3 dealerships in Murfreesboro. Hyundai is the only place I went where I was actually waited on. No one even bothered to wait on me at the other 2 places. Ashley Asberry was my salesperson and she was great. We test drove an Accent, but I didn't like the color. I explained I wanted a red one. A couple of weeks later, she remembered I wanted a red car and called me when a red one arrived. I went there that day not anticipating buying a car, but I did. Every member of the staff I encountered was very friendly. Ashley was nice and explained every thing to me from start to finish. Howard in financing was also very nice. Before I left with my new car, they even got my first maintenance appointment set up. Ashley even called me a couple of days later to see if all was good with the car, which it was. I would highly recommend Signature to anyone. More

Van and James were amazing and funny. We were offered at great deal on our trade in as well as extras that we hadn't been expecting. The finance department worked really hard to great us a better interest great deal on our trade in as well as extras that we hadn't been expecting. The finance department worked really hard to great us a better interest rate and made the paper work easy to understand as well as all of the extra packages (GAP, warranty, etc.). I would and will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Volkswagen. The service made the 90 min drive well worth it. More
