I hate shopping at dealerships for new vehicles, however, Murfreesboro Hyundai made my purchasing a new car very easy and pleasurable. Hyundai Murfreesboro Service dept sucks, especially Toby. When I dropped my car off they told me one price and then hit me with a bigger price when I picked it up. I've never had to leave such a drastically awful review on an establishment. My fiancé leased a 2022 Tucson, put down $4000, sight unseen, based on the promises: -the car would be black exterior and inte on an establishment. My fiancé leased a 2022 Tucson, put down $4000, sight unseen, based on the promises: -the car would be black exterior and interior. -the car would be delivered next day from Chattanooga. -the car would not be driven, but would be on the bed of a truck so as not to put miles on it. Unfortunately, none of those promises delivered and the car was delivered, 5 days later, driven with 312 miles, creme interior. While disappointed, we refused delivery to find the car we actually wanted elsewhere. On the delivery day, the finance associate, instead of refunding the money, charged the account again for $4k and thus had to issue a $8k refund to my account (not without penalty from my bank of course). All of these things could be forgiven-but the way we were treated in the end by associate Bobby Carter was worse than ALL of the above failures. He was dismissive, rude, and belittling, citing that "he'd never had to deal with customers like us" and daring us to call the attorney general. He even proceeded to make a scene in front of other customers and staff (as we didn't so much as raise our voice). We'd never seen him before, so his assessment of the situation was unfounded and his deplorable treatment of customers that had done NOTHING wrong is still baffling. We're owed an apology I doubt we'll ever get. Unfortunate all around. More
Mike Lyles was wonderful to work with, he was courteous, never pressured me and was very attentive! He let me sleep on my decision and did not push to keep me there to make a decision right then!
