Robbie, our salesman, approached us in the lot and made us feel welcome. We looked at several vehicles before choosing to test drive the one we ultimately bought. With Robbie’s help we were able to progress through the process with little or no pain. All the personnel we dealt with were friendly, knowledgable and experienced. We would highly recommend your dealership as well as the salesman, Robbie, the sales manager and the finance representative in the future. More
Go to Honda of Murfreesboro GO TO HONDA OF MURFREESBORO INSTEAD!!! Not very happy with the Service Department at Hyundai... It’s been 3 separate occasions where they have proved GO TO HONDA OF MURFREESBORO INSTEAD!!! Not very happy with the Service Department at Hyundai... It’s been 3 separate occasions where they have proved inadequate. If this wasn’t a repeated issue, I wouldn’t be so pissed. This most recent time was today. Last night we dropped the car off, so the car was there first thing this morning. They fixed a recall... which by the way, constant recalls on Hyundai’s which is a completely separate issue. While the car was there it was suggested I needed an oil change. At 10:30 AM I authorized an oil change, yes I have phone records. At 2:30 we called to see if the car was ready. We were told yes it will be ready at 3. We didn’t get to the dealership until 3:30, maybe even later. The car was not ready. Even though we were there waiting, the car still wasn’t ready until 5:30!! All day long to get an oil change done, and couldn’t do it in a timely manner, unacceptable. This is especially problematic because I was told it would be ready at 3:00. Since this is the only Hyundai dealership within 30 minutes, THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ALONE IS WHAT WILL KEEP ME FROM BUYING THE PALISADE EVEN THOUGH I LOVE IT AND WAS WILLING TO DROP $45k+ on the new car. By the way, this is why I take my Hyundai to HONDA OF MURFREESBORO and can’t wait to trade out of my Hyundai. Even though it isn’t a Honda, they do an excellent job... take your car there for maintenance. Only reason why I give 2 stars is because the Asst. Manager named Chris was very nice and apologetic and gave the oil change for free. You know it’s bad when they give you the service for free. I give him xxxxxxbecause I definitely let him know I wasn’t happy. Mess up all you want, I understand mistakes but don’t waste my time. It’s the one thing I can’t get back. I want nothing... no free services and no apology, I got those things already... I just want everyone to know how much this service department sucks! More
A dealership willing to go the extra 1,700 miles I cannot stress enough how happy I am to do business with Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen. When you talk about a business going the extra mile they we I cannot stress enough how happy I am to do business with Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen. When you talk about a business going the extra mile they went above and beyond… for me and my wife they actually went an extra 1,700 miles. You see my wife and I live in Billings, Montana. We had a problem getting the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted in Montana. The fine folks at Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen in Tennessee learned of our dilemma and reached out to us to help. At first, we were skeptical they would be able to help us as we were so far away. But boy did they come through! They found us the Red 2019 Kona SEL we wanted. They had it shipped from a dealership in Kentucky to their dealership in Tennessee. Once they had it they cleaned it up and had it shipped to our front door in Montana! You are probably thinking that we were silly to work with a dealership so far from home and that we probably spent a lot more to buy our vehicle this way. You may be surprised to learn we actually saved $4,000 dollars by working with them. We financed through another company and we declined the dealer extras, but still they worked with us. So how does buying from so far away work? Well, they made it very easy for us. We paid a $500 deposit to show we were serious buyers then they secured the car from Kentucky. Once they had it they sent us our paperwork overnight through UPS. We spoke with their finance director by phone and went through everything together. They answered all of our questions and get this… they told us to wait to submit our payment until we had our vehicle here in Montana and had a chance to look at it and make sure it was everything we expected. I am sure Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen does enough business in their own backyard that they could have just went about their business as usual… but they saw an opportunity to help us so far away and they seized it. Now how did they hear of our problem in the first place? Well in full disclosure; one of their salesmen is my wife’s uncle. He knew we’d been looking for a while and he knew we recently had a bad experience in Montana. It was he who went to his manager and shared our story. His manager didn’t blink an eye and asked how they could help? That’s how it all started. If this dealership is willing to go the extra 1,700 miles to help us, I can only imagine what they will do for those in their own backyard. We’ll be looking to add another vehicle in 2020. I don’t know what it will be just yet, but I do know from where it will come. Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen you guys have made a raving fan out of me.
