What a great way to buy a car My husband and I have never had such a pleasant car-buying experience! Hyundai Veloster lease I was referred to this dealership by my father. As a first time car buyer, my first impressions and experience were not ideal (though not terrible) wi I was referred to this dealership by my father. As a first time car buyer, my first impressions and experience were not ideal (though not terrible) with the Murdock Hyundai in Murray. I had a very limited budget and was looking for quite specific car and package. I feel that because of my tight budget and certain decision to not lease, I was less important to the sales team. It took me doing a lot of the contact work to keep them working with me. I expressed my frustrations with the sales rep I was referred to and he did a great job of working with me and helping me understand the situations. In the end, I was able to understand the opportunity that leasing could provide to me. They were able to get me into a brand new version of the Veloster that I wanted at the same time staying within my budget. Although at first it seemed as though this could end up being an awful experience, it worked out to be quite a good one. I'm happy with the car, happy with the price, and don't feel like I got the 'run-around'. Quite honestly I feel like they did a lot to re-earn my trust as a customer and offered a few uncommon things to make the deal work for me and my budget. More
Dishonest Do not buy from these people! They are as dishonest as the day is long. We bought a "New Car" in Jan 2009, and every time we needed anything we were Do not buy from these people! They are as dishonest as the day is long. We bought a "New Car" in Jan 2009, and every time we needed anything we were lied to, told that recall issues were "our fault". We even had items stolen from our car while in their service. Now I find out, they ran my extended warranty concurrent with the free Hyundai "Bumper to Bumper" warranty. So when I need it, it expired three years early. Lesson learned.....NEVER BUY FROM MURDOCK! More

There just wasn't the usual annoying back and forth that goes on forever. It was straight forward. We definitely walked away having "no regrets". We have never walked out of a dealership saying wow that was such a great experience. Everyone at the dealership took very good care of us. We had our 5 yr old with us and they made sure she had snacks and activities to do. I can't say enough about Mark and his willingness to go above and beyond. After we purchased the car, we had a couple of followup issues that needed to be taken care of. Mark was on it right away and kept in touch with me the whole time. He was always there to answer questions and provide any assistance we needed. I would highly recommend this dealership!!!! More
They screwed up with the oil change - left oil cap open, BUT I'm not a super mechanically inclined person. I usually trusted the service provided at dealerships. Usually there is no reason to open the hood between regular oil changes. The car just drives fine and that's it. I'm quite lucky that I got embarrassed enough by the strange smells coming occasionally out of the car and decided to open the hood. Guess what - the oil is spilled all around the engine. I'm lucky that I drove the car with the cap open only for four days and not longer. And I'm lucky that the cap sitting loose inside the hood did not drop into any moving parts. Five star dealership? Not quite... However, Their response to the incident was remarkable. They did apologize properly. No arguing or negotiations whatsoever. They were very friendly and polite. The engine compartment was washed, oil level checked. The work was done fast. They provided some free oil change coupons as well. More

Disappointing Experience! Sometimes you wonder why a person will be promoted to be a sales or finance manager when they or he does not even know how to communicate and the guts Sometimes you wonder why a person will be promoted to be a sales or finance manager when they or he does not even know how to communicate and the guts to to tell you the truth about a car being sold in the internet but actually with problems and was already in for auction. Four phone calls and an Email and no answer except at the end told us it was sold through auction because it is a junk car! Do not deal with this dealership, you will be disappointed specially with a Mr. Ryan Knight. Sorry guy but please change the way you deal with people. God Bless! More

Best car buying experience...ever. I have been in the market for a new car for a few months. I checked the Murdock website for inventory of new cars. I was called and assisted by salesm I have been in the market for a new car for a few months. I checked the Murdock website for inventory of new cars. I was called and assisted by salesman Nestor Robles. He gave me great information not only about available cars but about the Murdock dealership and the type of experience I could expect when I decided to come to the dealship. My work hours are long and often erratic. Nestor was diligent in working with me. He often called or emailed me to provide me with great information on cars and the specials that were going on. He was a complete professional. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and above all else honest. He stuck with me and I believe it paid off not only for me but for him as well. Nestor realized that I was indeed interested and ready to buy. Yet I never felt pressured or that his patience was ever wearing thin considering I had to cancel several appointments due to work. I appreciate good, professional customer service. I am loyal to someone who is so professional and so dedicated to helping me find the right car for me. I am fortunate Nestor hung in there with me and helped me with my purchase of a new Elantra. Nestor is a wonderful sales professional and a real credit to the Murdock family of dealerships. I would be pleased to work with him and again and would have absolutely no concerns about sending family and friends to purchase a car from him. More
