I will agree there were some snags here and there with the financing, but I wanted to personally thank Jerry for being patient and sincere towards me and my feelings. Also, I wanted to thank Darren for being persistant in all his work, and his energy is really great. He helped turn bad news to even better news along with Jerry. Thank you brock for texting me to begin with. Thank you all!!! More

Experience so positive I can't believe it! Look, I rarely write reviews, but I've been treated so amazingly awesome by Murdock Hyundai, I'd feel guilty and wrong not writing one at this point! Look, I rarely write reviews, but I've been treated so amazingly awesome by Murdock Hyundai, I'd feel guilty and wrong not writing one at this point! First, Scott Child, who sold me my Hyundai in 2011 was straight up honest and a great guy to work with and be in the company of for the whole test-drive/sales process (I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and I have very low tolerance and a good eye for BS). How many people can say they enjoyed meeting the person who sold them their car? And, he gave me a great deal on the car I purchased! I told him what I wanted to pay for the car and he quickly got to what I truly believe was thee best price he could have given me considering that businesses have to make some money to exist! AFTER I signed all the papers and purchased my car, when the deal was totally done, Scott looked at me and said straight up, 110% genuinely, "You couldn't have bought a car from a nicer guy (meaning the owner)." And the great experience just went on and on... Because I bought an oil change package, I got to experience the Murdock service department on a regular basis. The guys in that department were consistently so nice and considerate of me, I almost couldn't believe it! They always bent over backwards to make me happy and I always left with a vacuumed and washed car. I'm just a regular gal, but the way they treated me ALWAYS made me feel like I was some important person. I wanted old service documents printed out on a few different occasions- "No problem! Can we print any other records for you??" Then I showed up to the service bay with my dog in the car. "No problem, we'll service your car [AND be sweet to your dog!]" Quite frankly, you could say I was kind of a pain in the butt-but every single time, they went above and beyond!!! With regard to my work ethic, I aspire to be like the people who work in the service department of Murdock Hyundai- seriously! And the great experience goes on and ON.... They matched prices on some tires I wanted, selling them to me pretty much at cost! When I moved out of state and had just a few oil changes left on my account (that I would not be able to use), they said "no problem" and asked where to send my refund check on the unused oil. They didn't have to do that!!!! I had already purchased that oil!! Know what else? Before I bought my car from Murdock Hyundai, I had visited Ken Garff on State Street. Holy jeez were those people inept. The car salesman was soooo obviously trying to manipulate and lie to me- and then the manager did the same thing!! I had 23,000 to buy a car outright. The manager treated me like a silly woman and basically laughed at the fair price I offered him for a car. He dismissed me entirely by saying something like, "I don't want to waste your time, [so I'm just gonna tell you that the car you want is already the best priced one in the city so you might as well leave if you won’t pay that price..]." He was wrong, btw, because the car smelled like dog any had fur throughout, (and I’m pretty sure the salesmen was working hard to try to conceal the smell). The manager didn't even attempt to bargain with me!! It was like I totally didn't matter as a customer. I had 23,000 in my pocket (in the form of my checkbook) and I wanted to buy a car as soon as possible! But it seemed like I wasn't even a worthwhile customer to him. He could have had the sale that day and he totally blew it. Guess what? That car I made him an offer on was still around weeks after I bought my lovely new Hyundai from Mr. Murdock. To make matters worse, Ken Garff's sales guy harassed me for weeks with phone calls I never returned well after I had already purchased my car from Mr. Murdock. Save yourself the hassle and feel great about the car you purchased. If you want a Hyundai and you're in Utah, go straight to Murdock. They mean it when they say no regrets. Considering all the evidence, I 100% believe what Scott Child told me. When I bought at Murdock Hyundai, I couldn't have bought a car from a nicer guy. More

Yay! Best Car Buying Experience! I can't thank Murdock Hyundai of Murray enough. Dain was so amazing helping me and Brock was also so kind and helpful. I was not expecting to get a car that day and Dain helped me move stuff out of my old car. He didn't even laugh at me when I had to text him, after I left, that I had forgotten a Twilight CD in my old car's cd player. Everyone there was so wonderful! I left with a dream car! I have wanted a Santa Fe since they came out! Even with my credit problems and little money down, I was able to drive away with an amazing car! Ernesto was also amazing in explaining all the financial paperwork and had me laughing the whole time. From start to finish, it was a great experience. More

Good Service center, Bad communication I went in to get my car serviced numerous times and once had to wait almost two hours to get an oil change and technician changed out the wrong light I went in to get my car serviced numerous times and once had to wait almost two hours to get an oil change and technician changed out the wrong light that I mentioned that needed to be changed out (left headlight) technician manager was helpful to get me taken care of when I returned to get the headlight changed. Spoke with a gentlemen in Sales by the name of Jack Stuart who contacted me back right away when I called to get the issue resolved. The receptionists are always nice and attentive every time. I called recently to be transferred over to someone who can help me out in the accounting or finance department and I was talked down upon by a someone named Jerry, in Finance. He was so rude and questioned me in the most unprofessional manner—I was stunned. I asked if I can speak to someone else because it was obvious that he was having a bad day. He immediately asked for my name to pull up my account, my time was waisted, and I was disrespected. I will never go to this location for anything other than getting my car serviced. I recommended people to the Lindon location, because the team there is very thorough and supportive. I didn't even need to go into the dealership to pick up my license plate for my first purchase, and I was given a choice for the type of plate I wanted. Murray location seems to have amateurs working in sales and finance, at least the ones I've dealt with were. The guy that helped me with my trade-in didn't know much about the vehicle I traded my car in for. It's a good thing I know enough about cars to know what I wanted, because I would've walked away immediately after the guy didn't know how to answer some basic questions about the car. More
