I did all of my comparison shopping online and through consumer reports. I then narrowed my selection down to 3 cars. I called 3 different dealerships. The first salesman said that he was with a custom consumer reports. I then narrowed my selection down to 3 cars. I called 3 different dealerships. The first salesman said that he was with a customer and would call me back. He didn't. The next salesman at dealership number 2 was short with me and I felt that he wasn't taking me seriously. Truthfully, he didn't seem too interested in selling me a car. Then, I was lucky enough to call Murdock. Lyle was the man I initially spoke to. He was very informative, gave me all of the information I asked for. We arranged to fill out the paperwork online and then set a time to come to the dealership for a test drive. I had 3 colors of the Elantra Touring to choose from. Although it was getting close to closing time, I never felt rushed. Greg patiently let me sit in, and test drive the car. He then took me on a tour of the dealership. He answered every question to my satisfaction. Mr. Rasmussen in the finance department thoroughly went through all of the paperwork. This was especially helpful because I did have a few questions about the lease. When everything was signed and in order I went over to a table in the waiting area. Lyle came over and we had a nice chat about the new building that Murdock was moving to. The treatment I received from this dealership was outstanding. I knew that I wanted a Hyundai Equus but was not sure if I wanted to spend that amount of $$ for this luxury vehicle. Jason Stocking came to my place of work..so I could test drive it..and look it over. J I wanted to spend that amount of $$ for this luxury vehicle. Jason provided me the best No Regreet price and I just could not pass it up even though I did not want to spend that much $$ on a car. I received a few hyundai incentives/discounts that made my decison to go for it. Jason did not pressure me in any way and was professional and always kept in contact with me. My wife has a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and in a year or two...she will want to get a new Hyuandi. I hope that Jason is still a professional sales consultant for Murdock as I will definetely call him up. I bought my 2012 Elantra from Tim Mills in Novermber of 2011. I gave his cards to friends and told everyone who asked me just how great my Elanta performed. On Easter morning (April 8th, 2012), we were hit from behind on the interstate by a driver going 20-25 miles faster than we were going. The Elantra was totaled by my insurance company because of the increased speed of the rear-end collision. The Elantra performed above my expectations due to the safety features manufactured into the vehicle. Neither my husband or myself had injury. The collision adjuster was amazed that he could see exactly how the safety precautions had functioned perfectly. When Murdock Hyundai was notified of the MVA, Aaron Williamson gave me a call and began working with me to find another Elantra that matched the one that was totaled. When I was ready to buy my new car I let Aaron know and the whole dealership seemed genuinely interested in helping me feel satisfied. Tim Mills met me at the door and told me the information he had about the original purchase and options for replacing my car with another one that was comparable. I left with my new Elantra. I called and spoke with Alex regarding an on-line deal I was looking at. He invited me to come down to take a test drive. When I arrived, Alex and pleasant and very helpful. The initial car that I wanted to test wasn't on your lot (they were enroute)and I asked to test the Elantra and WOW that was quite the experience. I wanted this car but the price was a bit out of my price-range. Alex talked to the manager and I felt like I was given a deal that worked for me. He intoduced me to Jonathan in finance while he saw to the details for the car. Jonathan was very informative but very nice and personable. After I purchased the car, Jonathan called me and told me that he was able to secure an even better rate for me. When I came in to re-sign the new contract, I found that he had gone out of his way to find me a key-chain. I have always felt it was important to get a key-chain when I buy a new car. I enjoy working with people who make me feel like we are instant friends and that is what both of them did. My son was with me at the time of the purchase, and the experience left a very positive feel for him as well. He has already recommended Murdock Hyundia to his friends! Jason was not pushy. He allowed me to check out other cars even if that meant giving away the sale. He just wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I bought a certified used care from the Logan dealer. I will never buy one there again. After a week and a half of owning a 2007 Sonata with 82,000 miles on it. It had to be towed to the dealer. This might explain why I will not buy another Hyundai. Then it get even worst. Blake Murdock the Gm of the Logan dealership really cares about repeat customers and believes the UR the heart of their business, to the point that I walked out of the dealership having to pay around $300.00 for a service charge for a car 1 1/2 weeks old that I had not even come close to paying the 1st payment on. If you think this dealership cares about you they don not once you have left with a car. If you think their cars are Certified and top notch, they are not. I tell everyone I can about how bad of an experience I had with Murdock and will always continue to. They only care about your money, once you have left with the car they only care about how to make more off of you until you want another car and then they will do anything for you. My advice. If you do not buy NEW, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM More
