Christina was very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I did stayed in dealership an hour or so longer than I expected but i did get a fairly decent deal on a lease on 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The only drawback or perhaps a grievance I have is that i was told by two different people that mileage on my lease could be adjusted in few months from 12000/year to 15000/year if i see that i will need that much more added.( I understood that it could cost me another extra $10-13/per month) More
We put a deposit on a white 2005 Endeavor June 2, after talking to Jason we were told that the car was in the shop when I asked him about my two major concerns, brakes & tires. He assured me that Murdocks was a very respected dealership that had a 150 Point Inspection " program" It turned out that the rig had new front tires & more than acceptable rear tires. The inspection failed to state a lack of a spare tire, a faulty tire inflation sensor, & 4 outstanding RECALLS in spite of beinng told they woulg be addressed. Their "Safety report" stated that the brakes were 3/32nds, yet when I took the rig to my local dealer they stated that the brakes were at 2/32nds & a safety issue. The SUV we were presented with was a SILVER 2005 Endeavor, and in condition that was nothing close to the description that was described on the website. I have an idea of what happened, but what the hay I'm an old man. I was born at night, but not last night. After much debate & negotation we agreed to a price& left for home. The truck is a great rig, notwithstanding we were sent on our way without a spare tire & sort of iffy brakes. The brakes have been replaced to the tune of $250.00 & a spare is on order for $150.00. Another irrating issue was the worst detail I've ever seen. My 8 year old grandson does better. When I tried to address these issues, all of a sudden my calls & messages went UN ANSWERED. Wow, what a surprise from a dealership that never missed a call as long I was buying, but now that I crossed the curb & home out of state nobody knows me. To say we were disapointed with the way were treated by Murdocks would be an understatement, notwithstanding the promises of customer satisfaction. Would we recommend Murdocks...NEVER More

We bought a 2010 hyndai Sonata a couple of years ago brand new. We had such a great experience with our sales man Scott Childs that we decided to buy another one. We bought this car at the salt lake city location on State Street and the experience was just like before, EXCELLENT.The payment increased some but so has my income and I have recommended family and friends to call my sales person. I did all of my comparison shopping online and through consumer reports. I then narrowed my selection down to 3 cars. I called 3 different dealerships. The first salesman said that he was with a customer and would call me back. He didn't. The next salesman at dealership number 2 was short with me and I felt that he wasn't taking me seriously. Truthfully, he didn't seem too interested in selling me a car. Then, I was lucky enough to call Murdock. Lyle was the man I initially spoke to. He was very informative, gave me all of the information I asked for. We arranged to fill out the paperwork online and then set a time to come to the dealership for a test drive. I had 3 colors of the Elantra Touring to choose from. Although it was getting close to closing time, I never felt rushed. Greg patiently let me sit in, and test drive the car. He then took me on a tour of the dealership. He answered every question to my satisfaction. Mr. Rasmussen in the finance department thoroughly went through all of the paperwork. This was especially helpful because I did have a few questions about the lease. When everything was signed and in order I went over to a table in the waiting area. Lyle came over and we had a nice chat about the new building that Murdock was moving to. The treatment I received from this dealership was outstanding. I knew that I wanted a Hyundai Equus but was not sure if I wanted to spend that amount of $$ for this luxury vehicle. Jason Stocking came to my place of work..so I could test drive it..and look it over. J I wanted to spend that amount of $$ for this luxury vehicle. Jason provided me the best No Regreet price and I just could not pass it up even though I did not want to spend that much $$ on a car. I received a few hyundai incentives/discounts that made my decison to go for it. Jason did not pressure me in any way and was professional and always kept in contact with me. My wife has a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and in a year or two...she will want to get a new Hyuandi. I hope that Jason is still a professional sales consultant for Murdock as I will definetely call him up. Thanks Jason, Thanks Tony and Thanks Karl as they all treat me with respect and resolved all issues that were my concern. More
