With this being the first brand new car I have ever purchased, I have to say of all the cars I have ever bought, this experience was by far the worst. Once they had the sale, they could have cared less purchased, I have to say of all the cars I have ever bought, this experience was by far the worst. Once they had the sale, they could have cared less about me or my needs. The salesman says he'll call back "within the half hour" but NEVER returns the calls. Car came in wrong and they told me the missing item would be in in 3 to 5 days, but here over 3 weeks later, still no call. I called them, and got the token. I will call you back "within the half hour". I truly wouldn't have given them this high a score if it weren't for Richard Arvey TRYING to make a difference. He seemed to be the only one there who cared. No regrets slogan? I am full of regrets More
I had a positive experience with this dealership. Particularly the sales person that I worked with. He was great to answer all my questions and showed me all the different cars that I wanted to see. They rose to the challenge and provided us with a comparison we couldn't resist. It was a brand new car that was only $300 more than the used model with 17,000 miles on it! Just bought a new Santa Fe sport from these guys. They were great. They got me an awesome price over $4000 below invoice. They beat a really great offer from another dealership, even when it was clear th were great. They got me an awesome price over $4000 below invoice. They never pulled the "we aren't making anything on this so you should accept a higher offer" stuff. They just stood by their commitment to beat a competitor's offer. Scotty was great to work with. Never pushy and didn't hound me by phone as several other sales people did. Curt was friendly and stopped in several times to let us know where the paperwork was going. Jonathan did a great job explaining all of our options for warranties and finishing up our paperwork and Mike helped us set up some of the tech stuff. Basically, we got the best price we could find and were very happy with their service. We'd definitely recommend them to our friends or family. More
To the Murdock Team: Murdock Hyundai was the last of four dealerships that we visited on Saturday, February 2, 2013. When we arrived in the Murdock parking lot we were met by James Miller, within secon four dealerships that we visited on Saturday, February 2, 2013. When we arrived in the Murdock parking lot we were met by James Miller, within seconds. James introduced himself to my wife and I, and from the beginning, we both were impressed. James walked us around and pointed out the styles and colors of of Hyundais' that we expressed our intrest. After we observed the Hyundai that we liked, James retrived a dealer tag within seconds, and the wife took the Hyundai for a test drive, all while James explained the items inside the vehicle. SPECIAL NOTE: I traveled as a passenger, because, the new vehicle to be selected was a present for my wife and our 40th anniversity. After the test drive, my wife made her decision on the four vehicles that she test drove during the day. She selected the Hyundai Sonata Limited, and we would seal the deal if the price was right. James then went to work and worked his magic, and presented my wife and I a price, and we excepted. James stayed with us from the beginning to our departure, he carefully explained the entire vehicle to us, and continuelly asked if we had any questions, and in our opinion, James Miller was a professional salesperson that we trusted, admired, and that The Murdock Dealership should be proud of. Monday, the day after the Super Bowl, James called and wanted to make sure that we were satisfied and if we had any questions. Again, we thought this follow-up call by James was very professional, (NOT OUT OF SIGHT- OUT OF MIND), our experience with James and the Murdock Dealership were outstanding and we would recommed the Murdock Dealership to out relatives and friends. Bought a used car from them. After 30 days magically the check engine light turned on. It turns out there were about $3k in repairs. We purchased a 2013 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T, in late December (2012). They had exactly what we wanted with all the options, accessories and the right color. The overall experience was excellent.
