Car had engine light for speed sensor. This was the only light that was on. They charged us $80 to check it. They said it would cost about $2900 to fix and they would not guarantee it would fix the problem. light that was on. They charged us $80 to check it. Due to the speed sensor light they wanted to install a new timing belt even though it already had one less then 10,000 miles ago. They wanted to change the intake on the car. They wanted to redo all the wiring for the speed sensor to the right front wheel and some wiring to he transmission. I almost went with there estimate. However I decided to have a second opinion. So I took it to a small garage by them. They put it on the host and pulled the wheel to look at the sensor. Within 5 minutes of getting there they told me I had the wrong CV axle on the car. You would think Murdock would have noticed this. The Hyundai dealer installed this axle just a few weeks before. They told me it did not have the little gear for the ABS brakes on the end of the axle. I told them the car does not have ABS brakes. They told me it needed it even if I do not have ABS brakes. They installed a new cv axle I picked up at checker for $46 and charged me $60 for labor. So for less than 1/5 I paid at the dealership for the first cv axle it was fixed. There are not codes and the car runs like a charm. I paid a little over $100 to have the car fixed by an honest mechanic and paid over $600 to the people that created the problem in the first place and would have charged me an additional $2900 to try to fix it. However it would not have fixed it since they were not planning on changing the cv axle. More

They also worked around my situation and got me better deal than I had expected. It even took a lot less time-less than two hours to finish the buy. At other dealerships I've been to before it took more than twice as long. I feel like I got a great value in my brand new Hyundai Accent, with the best warranty, free oil changes, and the fast and courteous service of their staff. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the experience. I've already recommended Murdock Hyundai to many friends, family, and coworkers. More

He just seemed to have a true desire to make me happy even if that was not the case; he played it off as if it were, which is all that matters is making "me" the customer happy. There was an issue i had with me paying my down payment, then the dealership stating i didnt because of an employee that was later fired. I was pretty unhappy about and the way at first that i was treated, like i had lied about the fact that i had paid it was very much unappreciated and very unprofessional in my opinion. So the only way i would come back to this dealership is if i dealt with Todd thornwall and only him. Thanks More

In fact, this was the best experience I've had in purchasing a vehcile. Along with Todd, the sales managers, finance manager and service staff were terrific. In your Portuguese with a Brazilian accent, you've made a friend in me. 1.1 one reason for me to trade my 2010 Sonata for a 2013 is mainly due to your treatment without pushing me in my process of deciding for this or that option. No hassles at all; nothing to be read between the lines. Also, I wanted to compliment Mr. Blake (with his Portuguese from Portugal) and Mr. Rich both for their rich quality in character on creating a beautiful environment for me to finalize the deal. 1.1.2 what else may say now? Overall Murdock was great, however; I do believe the price was a bit inflated. Everyone I dealt with was just AWESOME. I would totally recommend these guys to anyone wanting to buy a car. They were willing to work with me and find me the perfect ride. When I came back to get a rock chip repaired. It was the same great customer service. The waiting areas were clean, provided drinks, and had tv's to keep me entertained. 5 stars all the way. I am happy to recommend Murdock Hyundai as a great place to shop for a car, and Jason, in particular, as a wonderful sales person. I had to take the car into service, not because of any mechanical defects, but to learn about how to program something that wasn't well explained in the manual.
