I had been considering Hyundai for a while now, seeing them on the road. The 5 year warranty was a big deciding factor. It was raining and yet Chris came out to meet me. He immediately started answering all of my questions. We went on a test drive and he advised me of several financing options. He listened to all of my questions and wants in a new car. He was friendly throughout and did not act like he just wanted to sell me a car and wasn't really listening or caring about my concerns. He had to go back to financing several times with my pricing concerns. He was patient while I talked out loud, to myself, about whether this was a wise decision. He also had to listen to me say goodbye to my trade in. I'm very hard to please and he made the sale feel all about me. Most often I'm turned off by the sales person and leave, but not in this case. I left my title at home and didn't unpack my trade in as a defense because it was not my intent to actually purchase that day, just to browse. I really appreciate Chris being patient with me and making me feel comfortable with my new purchase. More

I am so grateful to the excellent staff, especially Ryan Short, Bryan Orr & Jordan Peterson, for arrangement & delivery of the Black 2008 Hyundai Sonata. They know the meaning of "No Regrets" & deliver the most incredible customer service, not just one time but 5 times. Not many dealerships would sent you home in a beatiful 2013 Sonata - while your car is waiting to be delivered. I feel like I am family & I know the friendships I have made in this purchase, will last a lifetime. Anyone having doubts about buying a car...."You have got to go see them" & indeed experience where "U R the Heart of their business". We left Murdock Hyundai, the "No Regrets Dealer" full of regrets and very disappointed with the poor customer service we received: 1- The price they tried to sale us our car for was $3,000 Dealer" full of regrets and very disappointed with the poor customer service we received: 1- The price they tried to sale us our car for was $3,000 MORE than the price they were advertising online for the exact same car. When we confronted the dealer about the discrepancy they had plenty of excuses and were very quick to place the blame on a computer glitch that changed the pricing without them knowing about it and the guy that was in charge was on a company cruise and didnt tell anyone about what he did. The excuse they provided us did NOT match the facts of what really happened as we found the price on multiple websites long before the time they alleged that the glitch mysteriously changed the price. We were really glad that we did our research or else we would have paid thousands more than we needed to. This was very shady. 2- Once we finally agreed to purchase the car, we discussed finance options and the dealership came out of the gates with a 4.9% interest rate. We told them that was really high and we were sure they could do better than that. They came back to us with 3.9% and said that was the absolute best rate out there and that the sales people really had to pull some strings to get us that rate. We told them that was still way too high and were sure that our credit union, Mountain America, probably had better rates. They said they worked with Mtn. America all the time and also checked all the other lenders, but 3.9% was the best. Again, we went home, logged on to the Mtn. America website and saw the auto rate was 2.74%. When we went back to the dealership the next day and shared that information, our sales consultant said she never told us that 3.9% was the best rate out there and that we must have misunderstood her, but yet that was the exact rate that was written up on the sales paperwork presented to us by the dealership. 3- Lynn, our sales consultant, was very patient, gave us a lot of her time and really tried to help us find the car we were looking for. She was however, very unprepared and very unclear of her facts on the car that she sold us. Countless time she mentioned one of the best features of the car was the eco boost option that we could activate to help get better gas mileage...she sold and sold and sold the feature, yet when we looked at the car and asked her to show us how to use the eco boost, she was unable to locate it in the car. She assured us it was there and that we just needed to read the owner's manual. Turns out the car did NOT even have the eco boost feature. She also talked up the blue tooth buttons on the steering wheel and the convenience of being able to use them to operate the phone. Same deal as the eco boost...we asked to see how the feature worked, she couldnt find the buttons and it turned out it was not on the car. Lynn also gave us the wrong Carfax report for our car, was unsure of the pricing of the vehicles and constantly had to check with her manager for clarification and information. And we only got one key to our car because she couldnt find the other. 4- The worst part of Murdock was after the hours and hours of haggling back and forth, including having the sales manager tell us that the price we were getting was the absolute best and the dealership was simply "breaking even" on the deal (highly doubtful), and finally signing all of the paperwork, Murdcok still had one last trick up their sleeve...they were kind enough to give us our new car with LESS THAN A QUARTER TANK OF GAS. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Apparently the policy of this NO Regrets dealer is to reward their customers for spending $30,000 on a car by requiring them to stop on the way home from the dealership and purchase fuel because the dealership was too cheap to fill up the tank. Once we got home, we also found that the back windshield wiper was broken and the USB phone charger didnt work. We called the service dept, explained the problem, they told us to bring the car right in. We asked if we needed an appt. they said no, they would take care of us as soon as we got there. We drove to the dealership 45 minutes away and as soon as we got there, they told us they were swamped and wouldnt be able to get to us. We mentioned that we had called ahead, were told we didnt need an appt and that is why we came in. They said we could leave the car and they would get to it, but they didnt have a loaner vehicle for us, so we would have to find a ride home. So...we took our car back home, made a formal appointment and now I get to drive back into the dealership again to have them fix problems. One thing we want to make clear is that we absolutely love our new car...it is safe, in good condition and we look forward to driving it for years to come. However, we are absolutely disgusted with the car buying experience at Murdock Hyundai and we would never buy a car from them again. Frankly, had we been able to find our same car at any other place, we certainly would have bought it there. In fact, during the 3 day return period we had after buying our car, we searched high and low all across the state for another car like ours. Had we found one, we would have returned our car to Murdock and purchased it somewhere else. The service at Murdock Hyundai is appalling. The company lived up to every negative stereotype of car sales and we walked away full of regrets. The whole deal with the basically empty gas tank was a perfect example of their disregard for the customer and we were so disappointed with all of the excuses and shady dealings by the dealership. He worked to find us the exact car we wanted even though it was at another dealership. He kept us constantly updated on the transport of our new vehicle to Salt Lake, and when it arrived, he was very helpful in teaching us how to use many of its features. Started by talking to a Murdock Hyundai employee Tyler Bennett about the Hyundai Sonata. After hearing his testimonials I decided to starts looking online which got me in touch with Nestor Robles. Nestor helped answer my questions promptly and accurately without any hard sales pitch. After about a week I decided to go into the dealership and look seriously. Nestor was busy with other customers and David Rasmussen let us take a test drive and showed us some of the options again with no pressure. All the time the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. We then sat down and started talking price. It was all about what we wanted and not what they thought was best for us. In the end the color we wanted was not in stock so they made us a good deal on an upgraded model. Thank you for the no pressure all about me car buying experience. I would recommend Murdock Hyundai to any one looking to buy car. More

We loved the car right away, and Jason talked us through the buying process, including the warranties that Murdock provides. Over the next few days we discovered a few problems with the car that needed to be fixed, and the folks at Murdock were happy to take care of them and get us back on the road. Brook Blakney in the service department took more than a few phone calls from me and returned every call promptly. When we purchased the car, Tim Mills explained everything and helped the process go very smoothly. I would definitely return to Murdock Hyundai again. More
