Amended Review, Surprised and Impressed. I have to amend this review, previously it was listed as "Dishonest Service Department, Disrespectful Employees.". After I wrote the review (See Below), I was contacted by Mr. Blake Murdock, he is 1 of the owners of Murdock Hyundai. We discussed why I had given his dealrship such a poor review, he seemed genuinely concerned about the issues I had listed in my review. Not too long after we spoke on the telephone, I received a letter from Mr. Murdock, in it was a check to pay for a free oil and filter change, and a voucher that could be redeemed for a free 30,000 mile service. On 8 August 2014 I took the car in for the 30,000 mile service, everything was GREAT. Because Mr. Murdock showed me that he cares, I will now reccomend this dealership to others, and may consider doing business wth Murdock Hyundai in the future, When we bought this car from Murdock Hyundai we thought that we had found a dealership that we could purchase from again. Then I took the car in for service and the service advisor lied to me about repairs that the car needed; he told me that the brakes were bad and needed to be replaced. I could not believe that the brakes could be bad at 24,000 miles, and most of the miles were freeway miles. I told the service advisor that I would take care of the brakes, when I checked the brakes there was more than 2/3rds of the pads still there. I gave Murdock Hyundai a bad review and was contacted by a disrespectful dealership employee named Stuart Jack. He did damage control and them promised me a free oil change. When I came in to get an oil change it was not free, he had just told me something to smooth things over. I filed a complaint with Hyundai motors and they just blew me off. I sent a complaint to Murdock Hyundai and they responded by asking me what kind of car I was interested in. I did the instant messaging with Murdock Hyundai and asked to have 1 of the owners contact me, they never did, given the integrity shown by this dealership, I was not surprised. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, what ever happened to honesty and integrity? On top of all of this we have to watch their ridiculous ads on television, the owners act like they are your best friend, then lie to you about the condition of your car; this type of behavior is a learned behavior, but is reprehensible. Steve Martinez Mr. Martinez helped me buy a Legacy Subaru, he went out of his way to first find me the exact car I was looking for and second he drove the car up to Mr. Martinez helped me buy a Legacy Subaru, he went out of his way to first find me the exact car I was looking for and second he drove the car up to Logan to me!!! Very Helpful I went to Murdock to check out the Sonata and quickly realized there were several models and trims to choose from. Nester promptly greeted me and answ I went to Murdock to check out the Sonata and quickly realized there were several models and trims to choose from. Nester promptly greeted me and answered many questions and concerns that i had. After working with him for a number of days i chose a used 2013 Limited Turbo Sonata. the car was for my wife and she loves it! Nester was awesome, he was never pushy and was very patient and always got back to me with any questions that i had. I highly recommend him and Murdock Hyundai. More

Great pleasant experience Jason Stocking was the sales person that assisted me in my purchase. Jason was very prompt with his call and treated me like a person rather than some one else to sell a car too. I appreciated Jason's honest and thoroughness prior to me arriving at the dealership. Once at the dealership Jason made the process very simple, as he had everything ready to go when I arrived. My experience purchasing my vehicle was very different with Jason in a very positive manner. In my mind this is the way car buying should be. I will definitely recommend if looking for a vehicle that Jason be the sales person to go to. More

Just love the place.... a bunch of nice men I just purchased a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring from Murdock Hyundai of Murray and wanted to share they are a reputable dealer in 4Salt Lake City, I just purchased a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring from Murdock Hyundai of Murray and wanted to share they are a reputable dealer in 4Salt Lake City, Utah. Selling used high end autos both from their show room (which I did not use personally) and online. I live in 84106 and have been searching for a car that I can love and afford. I had a friend who have got a car from these guys and said so many wonderful things about this dealership, So I decided to give them a try and met Steve from the jump he was very calming and kind. Steve was very helpful, low pressure and has good follow through. He immediately disclosed cars that were in an accident but felt it was insignificant as their mechanics thoroughly checked the vehicle out. They also shared the carfax with me. I learned they usually only sell perfect cars but made an exception on this vehicle. Steve listen and gave me everything I needed. thanks for having him around, bless you.... Bottom line, I buy almost nothing online, preferring local business and face to face interactions. However, finding the right used car locally is much more difficult and using the web opens many doors. I would not hesitate recommending Murdock Hyundai of Murrayto my family and friends More
