Mr. Gilbert, any agreement for upgrades or work to be performed must be put in writing and completed within a reasonable time with the cooperation of the customer. Correct, it was all agreed upon and all in writing. Just not followed-up on quite the way it should have or would have had the money already changed hands. As for the lifetime oil changes. Look no further than your own marketing history. That’s what was offered when we bought the car and now you’ve decided to change that agreement. You decide how you want to do business. And people will judge you accordingly.

I confirmed that you do indeed have lifetime oil changes from your vehicle purchase in Logan. Unfortunately, at the time of your purchase, our systems were not integrated across dealerships to make it easy for one store to see that data for another store. At Woods Cross we've had a lot of people try to redeem free oil changes when they didn't in fact have them, or when a limited-term oil change program had expired. For that reason, they are asking that customers who have lifetime oil changes keep a copy of the agreement in their glove box and simply show it to the service advisor when they come in. If you no longer have a copy of that agreement, I'll be happy to get you one.

Ben has been in touch with you a few times including today and is working with Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) to try and get this fixed for you. While HMF is a separate entity from Murdock Hyundai Logan and we don't have any direct control over their billing, we are, of course, happy to get involved and try to help get this straightened out. Ben Murdock got back with me after 14 days and me calling him again. He did get with HFC yesterday and was told that they did not have a payment that I had made . I had been told in 5 phone calls before that they had my payments but that they were not applied correctly. I had to take time out of my day to go to bank and get a copy of my cancelled check to prove, that in fact, they did have my payment.. While I was waiting for the bank to get the copy for me, I actually called HFC myself, and I was again told they had all my payments, including the one Ben was told they didn’t have. This is a joke!
