Murdock Auto Group started in 1982 with the opening of our Murdock Chevrolet store in Bountiful Utah. In 2005 with the purchase of our first Hyundai dealership in Orem, Utah , Murdock Hyundai began. In 2006 we purchased our Logan dealership and in 2008 we bought the Salt Lake City store . For our Hyundai dealerships our goal was simple, have a Murdock Hyundai in every neighborhood. Now we want more, we want a Murdock Hyundai in every driveway. Now with three generations of Murdocks involved in our Hyundai stores, we still have the family values we started with. Our business success comes from placing the customer first and fulfilling the Murdock motto, "Where U-R the Heart of Our Business".

They took the time to answer every question, worked with me to find the right vehicle for my budget, and were transparent throughout the entire process. I had been comparing several dealerships and vehicles, and they worked hard to earn my business instead of assuming they already had it. They listened to what was important to me, gave me a fair deal, and helped me drive home in my new 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience. What stood out the most was how respectful and professional everyone was. I never felt rushed or pushed into making a decision, and they made what can be a stressful process feel easy. The managers (Josh and Daniel) were ok …. be sure and do your homework before and during the buying process. My first two salesmen (Daryl and Willie) I would avoid. However my third and final salesman, Kevin Mattson was Excellent. He knows how to navigate the sales and closing process without any undue xx. He kept me informed throughout and I felt very confident in his performance. Finance dept: Never never a good experience there…at any dealership. I leased an Ioniq 9 and the vehicles’ prep was fair at best. The vehicle however is OUTSTANDING!! I traded an EV9 and the overall level of refinement of the Ioniq 9 is many levels above the EV9. Of course I’m still in the honeymoon phase (about 500 miles on the odo) so time will tell ;) More
