She keeps me up to date on the status while at the dealership when they were getting my car ready to take home and even afterwards I could email or call her for questions or issues. I don't feel stupid asking my questions. The process wasn't as stressed as I'd imagine & the buying process was smooth & hassle-free. She's freakin' awesome and I'd recommend anyone that wants a Lexus to go to Becky. You would not be disappointed. Don, the manager, was also very nice when we negotiated a price for everything. I had my car repaired when the check engine light came on. The service was Exceptional and The Mechanic was exceptional in explaining the repairs, very professional, high confidence in his diagnosis, pro on. Brought my '07 ls460 in to have a shift hesitation and a noise from the rear of the engine checked. The service tech said it sounded like the high pressure fuel pump. They replaced the pump and also the lef noise from the rear of the engine checked. The service tech said it sounded like the high pressure fuel pump. They replaced the pump and also the left injector driver which had excessive clearance on lobe. Also, to deal with the shift hesitation they installed TSB L-SB-003-08 for recalibration of the ECM. As customary, while on the lift, they checked the vehicle over for any problems and found the front brakes in need of pads & rotor resurfacing. I was able to use the 15% off coupon they sent me after I made my online service appt. and that took the sting out of the only non-warranty work that was done. I was provided with a Lexus Hybrid as a loaner for a day and a half while this work was being done. Altogether, the service dept. treated me and my car courteously and professionally and I recommend them highly. More
It felt like the bottom of my car was shaking and falling out. This did not feel like a minor repair and I thought I had better not mess with it. I needed to retrieve items from my car and the "Gold Team" answered a few questions that I had and made me feel comfortable that they cared about getting my car fixed and also gave it a good looking over. I brought my Lexus 350 in because it was making a loud noise, like two pieces of concret rubbing together. It was something that did not happen all the time but when it did it was very startling. Last fall I had it in and left it overnight but it did not act up. I brought it in on Sat and BJ and the service machanic suggested I leave the car to see if they could duplicate it. They had it over the weekend and called on Monday morning to say it did not act up and suggested keeping it another day. They called on Tue morning and said it did act up and they were pretty sure they knew what the problem was. That was the good news the bad news was how expensive the repair was going to be. I had just had my car in for a 90,000 mile service and it cost me a lot of money. Nothing in my budget but I'm a firm beliver of doing the service to keep my car in good condition. I also have a 99 Honda Accord that I take to Mungenast in South County and have dealt with them for at least 20 years so I know and trust their work. I explained to BJ that I would have the work done but if their was anyway to help with the cost I would be very greatful. In the past 3 months I've spent close to 2500.00 in car repairs. My husband has had surgery and we are dealing with hospital and continuse doctor bills. He talked with the service manager and they covered the warranty and I covered the labor. When BJ told me the final cost I could have cried for joy and then I thought I must have heard him wrong. When I went to pick up the car the total he told me was for the labor and it was what he told me. BJ was out to lunch when I picked up the car but Drew Lesinski took care of the paperwork. He also was very polite and pleasent. BJ was very good about keeping me up to date on what was happening with my car and I appreciate everything he did for me. More

I was surfing the web and ran across exactly what I wanted at Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis. This was the first time I have ever purchased a vehicle site unseen, but it being a certified pre-owned Lexus and the Better Business Bureau Rating of the dealership was enough to convince me to proceed. I dealt with Alex Grant over the phone and via e-mail and made a deal. I flew into St. Louis was promptly met at the airport by a member of the dealership, who drove me there. I was met at the door by Alex and Meredith Rahm, one of the customer representatives, who told me my vehicle was ready. She spent a lot of time with me showing me all the features and thoroughly answering any questions I had. I then met with Mike Baek in finance. This part of purchasing a vehicle can be unpleasant, but Mike made be feel at ease and showed me all the options of extended warranties and insurance. He never made me feel pressured about anything. To make a long story short, I would recommend Dave Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis to all my friends. I was in and out in less than two hours in my new vehicle. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating. I can't say enough about Dave Mungenast Lexus, especially coming from a very frugal person who doesn't want to pay the dealer prices. In fact, twice they've corrected mistakes from Autotire, when they put my directional rotors on the wrong side (R on Left, L on Right), and when Autotire used an incorrect oil filter, which was causing oil to leak (e.g. more than a quart, before I knew it). Instead of correcting the oil filter, Autotire suggested that my engine (pistons, block, etc.) needed to be rebuilt (with only 95,000 miles) as they thought oil was in my tailpipe. David Cordner and the staff from Dave Mungenast was able to diagnose why my oil was leaking, and reassured me that my engine didn't need to be rebuilt. Plus, Dave Mungenast's waiting room is always clean and quiet (so I can get work done there, if I choose to wait). Even better, if I need to get back to work, they'll provide a courtesy vehicle. So, I'm a believer. P.S. I still don't like paying the higher prices, but I will go back to Dave Mungenast Lexus 100% of the time, just so my service is done right the first time.
