I had the sheer pleasure of purchasing my second LS from Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis. Although I would never buy anything else but a Lexus. He helped guided me to the right color and trim package. Nate is a very good listener, knows what's out there in Lexus world and can get what you want. The Service representative would not honor my warranty (the end of a .6 year extended warranty that I’ve never used) stating ‘someone’ installed an after market tire pressure sensor that failed. Weeks b (the end of a .6 year extended warranty that I’ve never used) stating ‘someone’ installed an after market tire pressure sensor that failed. Weeks before Dobbs agreed to assess why the tire pressure monitor failed after I purchased new tires at Dobbs, Dobbs, in good faith, purchased a new tire pressure sensor from Mungenast to fix the problem, at no charge to me; although it did not fix the issue. I took my Lexus back to Mungenast (second time to assess the tire pressure monitor; first time months earlier they claimed nothing wrong with it) in hopes Mungenast would figure the problem out. I just wanted the problem fixed, never agreed to or was aware of an after market part ‘someone’ installed. The Mungenast service representative acted suspicious, as though there was deception coming from me trying to milk a warranty that I spent thousands for, and have never used, when I purchased the car from Mungenast over 5 years ago, I spent $300.0 for the tire pressure sensor the Mungenast rep said may not even fix the problem, and that the warranty would not honor because ‘someone’ put an after market part on that failed—one that Dobbs reported came from Mungenast Lexus. I’ve had good experiences at Mungenast the past 5 years, but this one was a debacle. I did not appreciate the tone of the service rep, that repeatedly stated his 30 years of experience shuts down any debate about after market parts, when the vehicle owner should know to use Lexus manufacturer parts.
