Although the site asks for the salespersons name I have no issue with him. It's always the backroom managers who are responsible for a good or bad experience. Anyway, Mullinax prides itself on having no dealer fees and save for a $53 electronic transaction fee listed in the fine print they don't. However, that doesn't mean they don't try and make money elsewhere. I contacted them to try and make a deal out of state as their list price was unbeatable and knowing what SC tax and registration is I figured if their no fees promise were true I'd be out the door for more than $1000 less than any other dealer I'd try to deal with locally. Well, when their offer sheet came back it was $1,651 MORE than what the list price plus tags and tax would have been. It started with a $401 higher difference in the selling price and the listed price and got worse from there. One of these discrepancies could have been a mistake. But when it comes to asking hundreds of dollars for road use fees that don't exist in my state and trying to collect an estimated property tax (not sales tax) that a dealer has no responsibility to collect or ability to submit on my behalf those are not mistakes. Those are either gross ignorance of the process or a scam. Sort of makes the $112 difference between the website stated electronic filing fee and what was charged on the offer letter look tame by comparison. In short there were too many "mistakes" to be mistakes. Either the sales manager was completely incompetent or was trying to put one over on me. No matter, now any potential trust is broken and there is no deal to be made. There are a lot of good reviews about this dealer so I was hopeful but their actions, intentional or not, give them a bad appearance and I would say they can't be trusted. More
I recently purchased a Ford Edge at Mullinax Ford of West Palm Beach. The process from start to finish was efficient and pleasant. Roosevelt was my salesperson, and he far exceeded my expectations for custom Palm Beach. The process from start to finish was efficient and pleasant. Roosevelt was my salesperson, and he far exceeded my expectations for customer service. Reception, staff and finance were friendly, and everyone generally seemed happy working there. Definitely different than most car buying experiences! Also a shout out to Brenn, the General Sales Manager who also helped to facilitate the sale. If you need a new car, and you don't want the typical sales pressure, this is the place to go! More

Typical Used car dealer to avoid. Another one of these highly overpriced one price only, “Easy” process scams. The 2 Porsche Cayenne’s I inquired about was 15+% above market which Another one of these highly overpriced one price only, “Easy” process scams. The 2 Porsche Cayenne’s I inquired about was 15+% above market which is clear from both the retail and wholesale markets. They will make up numbers that you should NEVER believe in an effort to justify their, “Market pricing”. The Truth is the prices aren’t based on the market. It’s based on what margin they want. They overpaid so now you hold the bag when u buy it. It’s all of these one price, no nonsense places not just here. They are typically holding cars a LONG time or waiting for an uneducated person who doesn’t know the prices to fleece. It’s really that simple. These dealers have seen their business dry up , paying huge financing fees and are in Big trouble. They will do and say anything to sell another car. They are still Very arrogant about it also. It’s all an act so don’t buy into it. Don’t go into the dealership at all if you’re smart. Don’t even inquire online. I get that people are frustrated with the current dealership predatory behaviors and high pressure sales tactics. You like myself just want the truth and FAIR prices online with the current market. People go here or another one like it who aren’t going rip them off with unreasonable and outrageous fees. These used car dealers fool frustrated people who just want to buy in peace with a nice friendly smile. You wind up with in heavy negative equity the second you sign the paperwork. Sell the car back to them and they are going to pay you 20-30% less for what you just paid. Use your two feet walk out and say no. We have these websites and social media now where other people just trying to get a fair deal on a car by helping each other. Nothing wrong with making money otherwise they are out of business. What’s wrong is when you make up facts, hide problems to induce someone to a highly unfavorable deal and profit off it. They love to tell their sales stories about how much they made and stuck it to us the public. They have lost all moral compasses in pursuit of your hard earned money A Wolf in Sheep’s clothing. I Definitely do not recommend this place. Please stay away!!!!!!! I bought a Ford f 150 with them in February and first of all the truck had a bed cover when I saw it and then when I went to pick it up there was no bed cover and they said it was Broken, but when I looked at it it looked fine. They could have given a heads up and have a warning that they were throwing it out. I had already purchased the car with it and that makes it my property now. They gave me the 5 day warranty and guess what? On the 6th day the check engine light turned on. I called them to fix the truck they said they would see what they could do because the warranty was over. they kept the truck for about 5 days and the day I picked it up while I was driving it back home the check engine light came on again. I asked them to do a diagnostic so I could see what the problem was and they wanted to charge me 300$ for it. If I could I would give 0 stars to them cause giving them 1 is being very nice for what they did. Not to mention the female that sold me the truck was extremely rude. When asking her questions about trucks she would walk away and not respond or she would keep cutting me off while I’m talking and not let me finish. It’s no wonder they don’t charge a dealer fee because they don’t service their cars correctly, they sell you vehicles with issues and don’t disclose it. I’m positive they didn’t fix the issue for the check engine light or it wouldn’t have turned on while driving home the same exact day. More

A pleasure to deal with. It was a fairly custom order on a high-demand vehicle (Bronco). It took 23 months from the time of the reservation being placed to receive delivery. It was a fairly custom order on a high-demand vehicle (Bronco). It took 23 months from the time of the reservation being placed to receive delivery. With that the Mullinax team was amazing throughout, in particular, I'll call out Derek VanHoose who spent 23 months responding to texts, emails and providing great updates. I would highly recommend Mullinax for anything you need Ford (or maybe otherwise)!! More
